The easiest way would be to contact Crate customer service, or Guitar Center, or Musician's Friend, or Ebay. Here are the links- http://www.crateamps.com/support/index.php
We sell this Same PA at the music store I work at,
and I know that Any normally open momentary switch will work
if it's Not working, then either the switch or cord is defective
or we have had to service a few of these, never for that problem tho? So I guess it could be the input jack on the PA ?
Hope that Helps?
Digidesign / AVID does not release Schematic Diagrams -even internal to the company unless you are the service tech or hardware engineer on the project. You are going to have to send that in to a Service Center or to the Palo Alto, CA service warehouse.
You would have to get it to a service center. It could be the control or some supporting circuitry. If there is no service center near you. You can send it in to pro Line Music 215-736-8055
If after you shut it down and after a while turn it on again and it works the same way. It sounds like a heat problem. We here at Pro Line Music are a Peavey service center. If you can not get any local help you can send it to us. [email protected]
