I have a 50" Samsung led. and what mine did was click and click before turning on. the clicking time increased periodically until it just clicked and never turned on. I called Samsung and they said that '08 TV's were made defective and they sent a tech. to replace the power supply module and it's been working great ever since.

Check or have a repair tech check connectors AP1 and AP2. Vibration rattles the power supply board (a crappy design, as the board is almost "floating") and causes the wires in the connectors to break, and may make intermittent contact. Heat may also cause intemittent contact. A very common flaw.

Turn Tv off by power point unplug even for 30 or 45 minutes then turn back on. that way the tv has time to reset back to normal

The YouTube video was correct solution for me, i went to Radioshack and bought two (2) 1000uF capacitors 35 wv part#272-1032. I already had all the soldering tools, i used a desoldering wick and my suction tool, the suction tool worked better. after installing the caps, put the board back into TV and turned it on.. all is well so far. i paid $3.44 for the parts. even if you have to buy a tube of solder, solder iron (15 watt max), and de-soldering tool it's still cheaper then repair shop and got nothing to lose even if you are a novice with soldering. :) Good Luck and thanks you guys for the lead on fixing my TV issue!!!
