SOURCE: Moutlrie I-40 IR flash doesn't seem to work

error 020000 relates to flash/flash charging...if new, take it back.I have repaired several by replacing the IR LED flash...easier fix than the incandescent units.

Why did my cobra camera system stop recording

There could be several reasons why your Cobra camera system stopped recording:
  1. Storage capacity: If the storage capacity of your camera system is full, it may stop recording. Check if you need to delete some old footage to free up space.
  2. Power supply: If there was a power interruption or outage, the camera system may stop recording. Ensure that the power supply to your camera system is stable and reliable.
  3. Camera settings: Check the camera settings to see if there are any settings that have been changed that could have caused the system to stop recording.
  4. Camera malfunction: It is possible that there is a problem with one of the cameras in your system, causing it to stop recording. Try troubleshooting the cameras individually to see if they are functioning properly.
If your camera system started recording again after stopping, it may have been a temporary glitch. However, if the problem persists, it is recommended that you seek assistance from the manufacturer or a professional technician.

I have a Techview H.@64 Model 3036. Records during daylight hours but loses video recording at night?. Any ideas on how to enable the infrared recording at night? Marilyn

If you have IR capability make sure you have power to the camera as well as a video feed. There should be a tail at the camera that supports the power and a plug in for the other side.

Motion works fine daytime records all night won't stop

cameras are more sensitive at motion during night time, also camera cable noise can trigger the camera to record continously

It doesn't take all the pictures at night, i get some, maybe 1 or 2 then it skips and might take 1 more. takes great daytime photos. is there anything that can be done to fix it?

Hi mmcgee6,

You need to check the settings in the camera , as to whether it's selected on night mode or not , when you use the camera at night , and particularly if the light is not as bright as day light.

There should not be any problem with the night shoots from the camera if there is no problem in the day , it's just the settings that needs to be changed to night mode.

Also a good idea would be to set the flash settings on Auto instead of Off , or other settings , this will adjust the camera as per the environment in which you are clicking your pictures.

Hope this helps ....:)

Blurry video recording

Since the camcorder returns to the auto shutter setting and the auto exposure setting when it's switched into Night Capture mode, I would say that might be your problem.  Change your shutter and exposure settings. To do this, switch to Camera mode, turn the menu dial to the setting you wish to change then press enter.  You may have to play with the settings until you get the desired picture. Remember, faster shutter speeds for faster action (stop action), and longer exposure settings for darker situations. Let me know if you need more help.

Playback difficulties

Not specific enough but I would run a head cleaner thru it for 10 seconds and see if that improves things and always use the same brand of tape to prevent gum issues.
