Rescanning and turning tv on and off. we don't have a wifi dongle to connect to!
Hi!i have just the same problem,i made a factory reset and it looks like it helped no more flashing message
er 0 0 Best way to cure this problem is to remove offending wifi module open up tv and module is situated at the bottom right hand side remove connection and remove module Then put back on tv and away you go Hard wire into modem is best or buy new module on ebay SORTED.

Make sure you set the laptop to display at a resolution the TV can display, it seems best to start with 1024x768 then work up.
If you are using a VGA - HDMI converter it is possible you will not get a picture.
You should be able to set the laptop to 1024 x 768, plug it into the TV, select PC input on the TV remote, and the picture should appear.
If not, then check you have the monitor output on the laptop switched on, test it with another monitor to be sure.
If all the above still fails to work, and you've checked the cable the TV has a fault.
