I have a Thomas and Friends Wooden Railway Battery-operated Rosie - I replaced the battery and the light goes on but the motor won't work. Can it be fixed? (Note: this is not a Trackmaster train)

If you can disassemble the train you may find that one of the motor wires has broken off the motor. If that is the case it could be soldered back on. If the motor is shot, it may be hopeless but once you get it out you may be surprised to to find a replacement on the internet. Post more details or a picture of the train and I can research it.

Thomas & Friends Railway Adventures from 2001 seems to work fine on my Windows 7 PC, but I am wanting to give it to someone that is running Vista. Will it work with Vista? Thank you

If it worked on Windows 7, it will definitely work with Windows Vista
The only thing you need to check is if its Vista 32-bit or 64-bit - the latter is known to be not compatible with a lot of software.

Do you have assemble instructions for THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE island of sodor train set

You can actually make many out of the train set you specified. I am sending you a link that will give you all the ideas with pictures. If you zoom in on the pictures, it will give you the piece numbers and where they go. You can choose the one you want.

How do I change the battery in a motorized wooden railway engin for thomas the train

2 options.

1.if its the kind that fits on the wooden track look for a screw (philips/star screwdriver) on the underside of Thomas near his face. The body shell should lift off.you will then see the battery.

2 If it's the plastic blue track you have to squeeze the right center wheel and left center wheel. Thomas has 6 wheels so the 2 center/middle wheels, after squeezing this will then make the top portion pop off.

I can't seem to figure out how to change the batteries in my talking salty trackmaster toy. I accidently got rid of the instructions

My son wanted this for Christmas but we went with a couple more affordable sets. he did get others though and they dont change batteries like most of the Thomas and friends. Flip him upside down, locate all screws...find one or two that have and arrow around the screw...those are the ones you take out to put the batteries in.

Should Edward have the same face as Thomas?

No they do not have the same face. Edward has almond shaped eyes and a pointy nose. If you bought it new, learning curve will replace it for free, if you bought it second hand or over the internet you may have got a cheap knock off.
