Thanks for reply but when I press TV speaker the only two options highlighted are TV Speaker and Audio Out. Under Speaker Settings the Device List setting nothing is stored and the Add New Device is set to ON. Any ideas ?
When the soundbar light is blinking quickly, it should be sending out the signal to allow it to pair up with the TV. Did that part seem to happen as expected? Assuming that part went as planned and you got into the TV menu while the soundbar's pairing indicator was still blinking quickly, I am reading a document which states that the pairing distance is only 20 inches, after pairing the soundbar can go farther away. COuld this be the problem? Please refer to:http://www.samsung.com/us/support/howtog...

Should be able to use Bluetooth. Need to "pair" the devices (the TV and the soundbar). On soundbar, press On/Standby to power it on, press Input to select Bluetooth (pairing indicator blinks), press & hold pairing button until pairing indicator blinks quickly. Now go to the TV's setup menus: Sound > Speaker Settings > TV Speaker > SoundShare Settings, Add New Device=On, select the Sharp GT-SB30 from device list. If passcode, password, etc is needed, enter 4 zeros (0000). After the devices are paired. the pairing indicator on the soundbar should stop blinking. The pairing information should be retained so you only have to do this one time unless you do a full reset on the TV or soundbar.
