There should be an option to reset your phone in 'settings'.
Back Up and Reset should give you the option to reset with no problems. As you enter this option, the last option here is 'Factory Data Reset'. Try this and let me know what transpired after....

How to reset blu neo jr

Since you didn't suggest which one you wanted, soft or hard reset, I have included answers for both:

To Soft Reset. First method:

1) Remove and replace the battery.

2) Press the Power Button.

Second method:

1) Press the Power Button until the menu which shows "select option turn off phone" appears or

Third method:

1) Press the Power button until the phone turns off, then press it again until it turns back on.

========

There are a couple of methods to hard reset your Blu Neo phone back to default factory settings.

1) Depress the power button until the unit is on.

2) Browse to Menu > Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone.

The resets your phone to out of the box settings. Only to be used if you wish to return the phone back to the condition it was in when you first purchased it.

The second is to:

1) Turn you phone off.

2) Hold the Volume Down and Menu and Power buttons [all three at the same time]. Hold all three fingers down on those buttons until you see the Recovery Menu [it may take a few moments], then release your fingers from the three buttons listed above.

3) Select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" using the volume buttons to navigate between the choices. The use the Power Button to select the choice.

4) Confirm "Yes - Delete All User Data"

Either of these two methods will reset your Blu to its out of the box configuration. BE SURE you have a back up if you wish to restore your settings.

I hope this helped you.

If You Can't Boot

If safe mode doesn't help fix your device, you can perform a hard reset by booting into a special recovery mode. First, ensure your device is fully shut down.
Press and hold the correct keys to boot the device into recovery mode. This will vary from device to device. Here are some examples:
  • Nexus 7: Volume Up + Volume Down + Power
  • Samsung Galaxy S3: Volume Up + Home + Power
  • Motorola Droid X: Home + Power
  • Devices With Camera Buttons: Volume Up + Camera
Similar devices will likely use similar key combinations. For example, the Nexus 4 also uses Volume Up + Volume Down + Power.
If your device isn't on this list and none of the above methods work, do a Google search for the name of your device and "recovery mode" - or look in the device's manual or support pages.
Release the buttons when the device powered on. You'll see an image of an Android lying on its back with its chest open and its internals revealed.

Press the Volume Up and Volume Down keys to scroll through the options until you seeRecovery mode on the screen.

Press the Power button to restart into recovery mode. You'll soon see an Android with a red triangle.

Hold down the Power button and tap Volume Up. You'll see the Android system recovery menu appear at the top of your screen.

Select wipe data / factory reset with the volume keys and tap the Power button to activate it.
Select Yes - erase all user data with the volume buttons and tap Power. Your device will be reset to its factory state and all your data will be erased.

If your device freezes at any point, hold down the Power button until it restarts.

If You Can Boot

You can reset your Android phone or tablet normally from its Settings screen. Tap the Backup & reset option on the latest versions of Android or tap Privacy if you're using Android 2.3.
android-backup-and-reset1.png
Tap the Factory data reset option and to through the reset of the steps to confirm the factory reset.
android-factory-data-reset.png
If the factory reset process doesn't fix your problems - or doesn't work at all - it's likely that there's a problem with your device's hardware. If it's still under warranty, you should have it fixed or replaced.
(There's one exception to this: If you've been flashing custom ROMs and messing with your device's low-level software, it's possible that you could have overwritten the stock recovery software. In this case, it's possible that you have a software problem and not a hardware problem.)

My blu 4.0 cell phone screen is no longer working after two months why is that

I am assuming that this is a Blu Dash 4.0 . I have a Blu Dash 4.0 as well and have had the same problem. It seems like part of the software as gone corrupt. For a fix I suggest you do a factory reset. Here are some simple steps in doing one.
  1. Power off the phone (you might have to remove the battery)
  2. Hold down the volume down button+the power button until the phone boots into BIOS (It will look like a picture of the Android w/text over it)
  3. Navigate the menus to Wipe data/factory by using the volume up/down keys and select with the power/sleep button
  4. Navigate to Yes and select it once again
The phone should do the rest from this point on. Let me know if I need to clarify or you need more help! I'd be more than happy to help.
