Start with the main unit turned off. Press and hold the button on the back of the swa-5000 module until the light on front starts blinking fast. Then point the remote at the main unit and press 0-1-3-5-ENTER. The standby light on the main unit should turn off then back on. Turn on the main unit and it should find and link with the wireless amp.

Can one use a TX card to view a movie on a tablet on the tv screen?

The Samsung TX card is used to send part of the audio signal from the main unit to the wireless module that controls the surround sound (rear) speakers for a Samsung Home Theater system. It isn't going to act like a ChromeCast device for your tablet.

The Samsung AH81-04177J (SWA-4000) is only compatible with a small number of Samsung Home Theater systems. see http://www.samsungparts.com/Products/Parts_and_Accessories/PID-AH81-04177J.aspx . One of the supported systems is the Samsung HT-BD3252, https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/blu-ray-home-theater-ht-bd3252-series . See the manual of the home theater system for more information: http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201104/20110419185210639/HT-BD3252A_XAA_0807[1].pdf .

I hope this helps.

I have a samsung tv and blu-ray system each time i turn it on blu-ray reverts to din so i have to manually put it to hdmi 2 which i watch tv through i have digital optical cable conncted between blu-ray...

Hi, When you connect the HDMI you do not need to connect RCA cable as well. Do not connect 3 all together. HDMI,RCA and DOC. Check manual for proper connections. You can damage your systems. Please read MANUAL.

ONLY THE FRONT 2 SPEAKERS WORK FOR HT-C550 SAMSUNG

hi

i have just bought both the Samsung HTC-555 and the wireless module SWA-5000. I had the system setup accordingly and on doing the speaker test, all 6 speaker received the signal from the amp. This should mean that the system in working ok. However on watching a blu-ray movie recorded in DD5.1 channel on my PSP3, the rear speaker do not seem to have an output coming. Only the front and the woofer speaker are providing the sound! Any Input....

thanks

Will a swa 5000 tx card fit a ht-tz225 home theater ststem

Unfortunately it would appear not. I just bought an SWA 5000 for my HT TZ 225 home threatre system as it would seem the SWA 4000 has been discontinued - the HT-TZ225 refers to the SWA 4000 doesn't it.

The tx card that accompanied the SWA 5000 was too big and did not fit in the back of the DVD player so I will have to return this to the retailer and keep looking for an SWA 4000 . . .

Unless anyone has another solution.

I have bouight a samsung home theatre system that comes complete wiht a DVd player - i also have a samsung blu ray player - naturally ithought they would be compatible!! how wrong i was!! the connections...

You have several ways to do this. You can hdmi cables from the two units and plug them into your tv if it supports hdmi and run the audio out portion on the back of the tv and hook that into one of the audion inputs on the surround unit. Or you run audio directly out of the bluray using rca, digital coax, or digital optical cable. Turn the surround reciever to the corresponding input that you choose to use.

Hi, I have Samsung HT-X50 connected with SWA-4000. It was working fine, then for somereason I had to remove and reinsert Tx card. After doing that SWA-4000 is not connecting to HT-X50. Blue light blinks...

You have to reset the connection:

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!

NEED TO UPGRADE MY HT-BD2 SYSTEM

There are two ways to approach this. You can either download the update from Samsung's support page, burn it onto a CD, place the CD into your Blu-Ray player and let the update load...or you can connect your Blu-Ray player to the internet and let the player download and install the update automatically.

For the first approach, the upgrade file can be downloaded by clicking on the following link:
http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=us&CttFileID=2149020&CDCttType=FM&ModelType=N&ModelName=HT-BD2&VPath=FM/200903/20090318095607437/081227_01_HT_BD2_XAA.zip

...and the instructions to installing the file on your system can be found here:

http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=us&CttFileID=2149021&CDCttType=FM&ModelType=C&ModelName=HT-BD2&VPath=FM/200901/20090109105847140/HT-BD2_System_Upgrade_by_CD_Method.pdf

The second approach is detailed in the HT-BD2 User's Manual (pages 46-49). It requires you to first plug a network cable into the back of your Blu-Ray home theater unit, then connect the other end into a LAN connection on your wall (or into the back of your cable/DSL modem) Page 26 of the user's manual shows you how to make the connection.

Blu-Ray disc stops playing after 20 minutes

New Blu Ray home theater player can not play new Blu Ray movies according to Samsung customer support. It is a JAVA code issue and they are working on a software upgrade. No release date is known. I tried playing The Hulk, Ironman and Wanted. None would play.

Thanks Samnsung for wasting my time and money!!!

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.
