Why won't my tv pic up any channels through why fi like my other Samsung does

Is your new tv a smart tv? If not, you would need a streaming player of some kind. Roku player, fire stick, gaming console, Blu Ray player. Not all TVs support Wi fi.

I bought a Samsung mod h5003 tv how do i set it up to watch streaming movies from netflix

Unfortunately your model Samsung is not a "smart TV" or WI-FI. Your only option to view Netflix is by connecting a laptop or PC by HDMI with internet/browser access. Or, you can purchase a DVD/Blue ray player which has WI-FI and Netflix built in App among several other services. I recommend the later. Hope this helps.

Hi. I just bought an LG OLED TV and a Samsung UBD-K8500 Blu-Ray player, and can't hook them up.

Get a HDMI cable and use it to connect them. Your TV owners manual will show you a connection diagram.

Is there an adapter to switch tv to smart tv

No, but most Blu-ray players are "smart" players and include a Netflix app as well as other services such as HULU, Amazon, etc. Usually, the Blu-ray player will have stickers or or emblems printed on the box or the on the player itself with "Netflix" , etc.
Connect the Blu-ray player to the TV using an HDMI cable. Connect the Blu-ray player to your router/home network with an ethernet cable or wirelessly if your player has built-in Wi-fi. Once that is done you can go to the Main Menu on the player and select Netflix. That should open the Netflix app and connect you for watching Netflix.

My samsung blueray will not play blue ray discs. It says " this disc cannot be played, due to parental levels on player" the levels were never set diferent or changed since we got it a few months ago.

If it was working ok when new then do a factory reset:

1) Power on and remove any disc. 2) Press and hold the STOP (?) button on the front panel for 5 seconds or more.

ā€¢ All settings will revert to the factory settings.
any user data stored in the BD player will be deleted.

How can i hook up my tv to the ht-h4500 blu-ray

Check the outputs on the back of the blu-ray player and the inputs on the back of the tv. If the tv is fairly old, it may not have the correct type, though most around these days would.
You may have three round ports - yellow with two of white/black/red, or an s-video round cable with something like one whole in the middle and five(?) around the outside, or a flat hdmi port?

How can I connect a samsung bdf5900 to my hitachi rear projection tv

Your TV is probably older and has Component, Composite and DVI connectors. HDMI is a newer connector that integrates sound. If your RPTV does not have HDMI but DOES have DVI, you can get an HDMI to DVI adapter on eBay or a computer store pretty cheap. You will need another way to get the sound from the Blu-Ray player, either external speakers connected to the player, or stereo RCA cables from the player to the TV (there will be a set of RCA audio plugs with the TV's DVI port).

My blue ray player claims to have built in wi fi; but I can't seem to get it to hook up to the internet, it keeps telling me that it is missing hardware

Hi devinanne, please don't shoot the messenger as I am just answering your question. This Blu-Ray player does not have wi-fi for any purpose. And the only reason it connects to the internet is for software/firmware upgrades. For that, it must be connected via the LAN port on the rear just above the USB port via an ethernet cable.(See page 44 of your manual). It does have Anynet+ which means it can control all of your Samsung audio/video devices from one remote. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. If I answered your question please give 4 thumbs up. And thanks for using FixYa.
