Take the bulb back out and check to see if the prong that hits the bottom of the light bulb is making contact. If that don't work then its most likely going to be a short or a wire problem of some sort...Do all the basics first the work your way down...It should be to hard if your willing to go further if necessary...If not then its time to call the tech...Hope this helps you out..

Both oven lights out

Are you buying hi quality oven grade lamps for this purpose that'll take the intense heat inside an oven? I wonder if they're halogen or tungsten filament lamps. Defective solder, frosty joints and/or ring fractures on lamp driving areas of a circuit board ARE indeed capable of causing problems with lamps.

Stuck oven light bulb

I use 2 sided tape to get a grip on the bulb. If it is really stuck and you end up breaking it, don't worry as it will be easier to remove the rest of the bulb with a pair of needle nose pliers.

I don't see the make and model number of your unit. I only see part of your post. Please post the make and model number. It should be a simple fix. From what I do see in your post, it sounds like the control board will need to be replaced.

My DACOR + ECS 130 covection oven light relay keeps clicking.....

I have the same problem and sent an e-mail to DACOR. A James Carlos responded and advised that DACOR could not provide DYI info because of liability problems, pure BS in my opinion. I've had problems with a DACOR microwave (manuf. by Sharp), my DACOR wall oven Model ECS103 and my DACOR Raised Vent system and told Mr. Carlos so. I don't know how to fix the blinking oven light other than cutting power at the circuit breaker panel or removing the two light bulbs which other have advised but suspect a new front control panel is required. If you find a fix, please advise me at [email protected]. I think DACOR products are overpriced and junk.

Inside oven lights won't work.

Hey,
I went to the appliance store where I purchased the oven, and they called a Dacor representative. A flat end tool was given to me to pop out the plastic covers. There are no screws to fasten the covers, so you have to use this tool - which was not put in my kit at the time. Be careful when doing this, because the plastic cover can break. You replace the bulbs by pulling out and pushing in the socket. There is no turning the bulb. Handle the bulb with a paper towel, because the oil from your hands will take life from the bulb. Very important that the oven's breaker is off before this is done. Luckily, I had a very kind clerk helping me, and she even gave me the bulbs free of charge.
I like your website, and I will use it again in the future.
