I recently purchased a proscan flat screen tv and the off & on switch will not work. And it will not come on by the emote either.

I have a Proscan model # PS36800HRJX1 and having a hard time putting it on DVD mode to be able to play a movie. I just bought a remote for it and can't figure out what's the problem. How do I go about it?

if using RCA connector cables, connect the left and right audio cables to D and D1, then connect the Video cable to the video connector right above the S Video port.
