Hi,these days you can buy the mirror on its own,you have to put a old plastic bag underneath the mirror housing to catch the glass, and with a small hammer tape the glass to brake it into smaller bits then carfully clean all the bits out you can use a old would chissle or flate headed srewdriver to scrape out the bits that you cant remove by hand and clean with a white spirit to clean eney dirt off.
when cleaned you are ready to replace glass,on the back of the glass there is a sticky side peal off papper and stick on.(make shore when sticking the mirror on you get it in the wright position before sticking you cant put it on and then take it off and try again,so get it wright the first time).

How do I remove passenger door mirror

Your local part store shoul sell the glass for the mirror on your particular vehicle. You just break out the rest of the glass in the mirror housing and glue the new one in. The new glass should come with double sided adhesive tape, I've never had any luck with the stuff, I always use a flowable clear silicone for glass. It's pretty runny so it takes a while to tack up meaning you need to find a way to hold the glass on while it drys, but it will hold throug the weather and vibration of driving

You will see a small rectangle where the screwdriver goes in. You are pryingtowards glass. The retention is about a 3 inch rectangle that has a lip around it that snaps onto a rectangle on the mirror body.
