You need CCR which is more complex.

AA
AA/Grtg/Grtg/1 = Thank you for calling ABC
AA/Grtg/Grtg/2 = Thank you for calling ABC we are now closed
AA/Table/1/Morn = Grtg 1
AA/Table/1/After = Grtg 1
AA/Table/1/Even = Grtg 2

CCR
CCR Path 0 = If you know your parties ext plz enter it now
for list of staff press 1
PATH 1 = MENU, record list of Staff

You need to disable the CCR Tree in Table before you can make changes. DISABLE to disable or 1 to enable.

You should get a tech in to do this and train you how. 1 hour should do it.

Norstar M7310 I cannot get the greeting from the last admin off of this phone. My greeting plays when the call comes in and it directs callers to the extensions, but after my greeting the old greeting...

The greeting is from the voice mail not your phone.
Logging In To a Mailbox From Your Own Extension
1 - Feature 981
2 - Pswd: Dial 4-digit password (default is 0000)
Follow prompts to change your greeting. They are: ADMIN, then GREET and then RECORD.

When done hang up or push RLS. I have installed several of these systems.

How do i record the intial greeting for the aa with a star talk flash

Feature 983 with a password of 1020000 this is for 3 digit extensions numbers add or delete 0 between 1 & 2 according to extension length and the last 4 digits is the voice mail password. Choose option AA, then Greeting twice, enter 1 for greeting number most likely day and 2 for night. Also check greetings 3 & 4. Check the soft keys and you will be able to REC - Play - and OK. When finished press the RLS button. Hopefully this is helpful.

I HAVE TO REMOVE ONE OF THE EXTENSION GREETING BECAUSE NO ONE IS USING THAT PHONE AND PEOPLE LEAVING MESSAGES ON THAT EXTENSION

If you have the manual or the setup guide, the instructions for reviewing what each button is programmed for and then simply deleting that option.

This should be the same phone:
http://t7316e.com/userguides_manuals.html
Press the logo button- *- 0 then the button you want to check. When you reach the one for the disconnected extension, delete it. or delete the answering machine option by scrolling through your menus. it may just be easiest to delete button and reprgram later.

AVAYA PARTNER ACS PHONE SYSTEM

Yes it can. Depending on the type of voice mail attached to your system you can both have the lines answered with a seperate main greeting (partner messaging can do this) or answered by a seperate mailbox (all partner voice mails).

AT T 984

I was told by an AT&T rep that the auto attendant can forward calls to another 984 phone to leave messages for that person. Your original OGM (out going message) on the designated Auto Attendant phone should state greeting and the names and the extensions. The caller presses the buttons for the person they want to reach and their call is forwarded to that extension. That extension, if unattended, will have an OGM telling the calling who they have reached and to leave a message. This feature can only transfer calls to other 984 phones only.
