Yes the 112 is the best Auto Pilot. You control everything from around your neck. Waypoints last fishing hole. The coolest thing when you go to a big lake and the water fluctuate day today, your waypoints on the remote keep you in the same depths you fished before in that spot and has recorded your fishing hole so all you do is it resume and your trolling motor will guide you through the last way you fished the spot. All you have to do is kickback and hook the fish and hit pause reel the fish in and hit resume and you Auto Pilot will keep you in the same depth of water and on your course you saved last time you fished that hole. Way Cool!, Only saves tracks for 250 yards safety.
Fish like edges or places where the bottof structure of the body of water you're fishing changes.
For instance a shallow flat with a deeper hole or ditch running through it. Or a drop off with a point that extends off of it.
if spots like the contain cover then they become even more attractive to fish. Cover is weeds, wood, rock or any other type of material that either naturally occurs of is artificially created. For instance a concrete break wall or a jetty that has bRosen rock along it makes great cover for fish. Fish also use edges, these can occur in a number of different ways. For instance where sandyou bottom turns to gravel or the edge of a weed line or where warme and cooler water meet etc. If you can locate an edge on a structural change and that edge meets cover or is the cover itself you've found potentially awesome fishing spot. The fish might not be there every day but they will use it at some point in time.
Hope this helps, good luck.
