what car, abovce shows 13 cars and 2 bodies>? why and what year? 1984? AND YOU SAID BATTERIES, 2 NEW BATTERIES? OK this is easy, mostly, the engine will not charge battery, alt belt slip,, engine rpm way too lowk, is running engine , battery voltage 13.3 to 15vdc. if not , alternator has shut down, for many reasons, bad battery cables, bad alternator and on newer years with regulator in ECU/PCM THAT bad. bad ground to alt, bad wiring to alt, is alt lamp in dash glowing, it must , if alt shuts down, is it? "charge lamp in cluster" what is it doing? tell more get more, above car is impossible. Question about Crown Jeep Cherokee 96 95 94 93 92 91 90 89 88 87 86 85 84 Comanche Car Auto Parts

so if you see like 12.0 across battery running? that means the alternator is shut down, only why remains, belt slio, or connections are first, there is a fuse, too. if you need the schematic, of this part of car, ask but telling which car, you have, we can. else NOT

That is probably one of two things, the alternator or the ecu. The voltage regulator is in the ecu.

Wont charge, new battery and alternator

Is the battery symbol lit on the instrument cluster ? Check fuses F1.26 30amp in the battery junction box , fuse box near battery in the engine compartment . Also check F2.27 10amp fuse in the central junction box , inside passenger compartment under the dash . It won't charge without voltage on this fuses . Also the heavier gage wire on the back of the alternator should have battery voltage , 175 amp main fuse near battery connection .

No charge on battery

I would have the battery checked to see if it is not the problem first. If it isn't working right you either need to pour water into the battery cells or just go out and buy another one.

My alternator wont charge my battery. both are new, new fuses, and wires and cables

Hi Paula, As both the battery and alternator have been replaced, there are only few remaining reasons why the alternator will not charge. Make sure of the socket connection being fitted correctly and that there is a good connection on each of the connectors inside the connector. Check and make sure the earth earth connection between the battery and the engine is correct and that both ends are tightened correctly. Inspect the 'Alt' fuse in the fuse holder and also the fusible link. Also make sure that the belt is tight. Regards John

My brand new alternator wont stay charged

Check the charging relay if working. You can find it in the fuse box which is either in the engine compartment or under the dashboard on the drivers side legroom.

My nintendo ds wont charge and the light wont go red wen its charging i think i need a new battery

Before getting a new battery, make sure your charger isn't the thing that's broken. To do this, borrow a charger that works good from a friend and try charging your DS. If it doesn't work, than get a new battery.

Check the main power fuse that goes to the alternator output. if the alternator went out it could have burnt this fuse also.
