My guess is that the soldered piece broke? Does it look like it can be re-soldered? If so, do u have any friends who are good with a soldering iron? You can buy one for under $10 and fix it yourself, but if uncertain, check the following:
Radio Shack ... some have techs to repair in house stuff
Jewelers --- find one who is not busy at Christmas
Mr. Fix-It ... almost every mall has one.
You will most likely end up soldering the wires together to make contact. Keep the colors the same ... black to black ... white with a stripe to white witha stripe ... you get it? If you still have the female end of the wires that attached to the connectors you can test to see if it works by directly wiring to the female connector. If it works, then you can try a more permanent repair. If not, speakers are not a ton of money, unless they are huge AR15's or something nice!
I almost forgot the ABSOLUTE BEST place to take them ... go to any Automotive stereo installer ... most of them know how to solder and repair speakers, I would guess. Try that one! And if ALL of the above Fail! See if you have a ham radio seller in town and see if he'll do you a favor. Back also to Radio Shack or anyone who sells speakers.
