How can I fix my rechargeable portable spotlight/flashlight after no charge for 1(one) year?
I brought my Black and Decker Vector 580 lumen spotlight/flashlight #VEC156DB about 2 (two) years ago, after recommended charge of 14 hours I used it twice, then stored in original package for a year and some months. Recently, I recharged for use with standard 120 volt extension cord until green LED light came on the spotlight did not come on. I read the owners manual for troubleshooting. I DID NOT TOUCH, REPLACE OR TAMPER WITH ANY PARTS OF UNIT. The unit will not operate.

I replaced the battery in mine(coleman powermate) for 10 bucks but you have to be careful in how you disassemble it and put it back together. Batteries sulfate after awhile like a car battery.
