I'm getting too much water for a shot making it more like a shot and a half. How do I reduce the volume of water?

We cleaned the unit but dont know what else to do. It is located in a church kitchen and is piped directly into the plumbing. It was calibrated one year ago by Starbucks affiliate but now is brewing shots that are too large.

Hi Adjust the grinder towards fine ,to do that check the collar of the beans hopper you will find circular dots bigger and smaller ,hold with both hands and turn towards small dots do both sides.

secoundly you can open flap of hot water and steam ,press and hold program button and increase the amount of coffee on each drinks.

That could either be an increase in water pressure or the shot timer needs to be reset to a lower value.

Krups EA8250 had a leak problem. I replaced the seals and now when making espresso shots, the volume of the shot is always half of what I select. When making regular coffee, the volume is correct.

Make your espresso as normal with the exception that you keep holding down the button until it has dispensed what you want to be the correct quantity. Next espresso you make will then be the correct quantity.

How to clean volume pot on a rmx5050

Just spray a few shots but you have to take the top cover apart, then take out 3 philips screws in the pots module, take off caps and then you should be able to give'em a good cleaning spray shots.

My keurig is brewing only alittle coffee and the rest of the water is being poured back into the water basin, at a very hot temp.

When is the last time it was cleaned? That's usually the issue & the quickest fix. If the Keurig gets lime/calcium build up on the internal components it will ignore whatever has been programmed into it & just keep cutting off or keep making partial cups. However, I've not heard of your particular problem with it running the heated water back into the basin. Try cleaning it & see if that reduces or eliminates your problem. Run some white vinegar thru it - fill the reservoir with a strong vinegar/water mix, remove any kcups/my kcup, also remove the carbon filter ( fyi - that's not going to eliminate any lime/calcium in your water - it's just to eliminate any bad tastes/odors) and "make" how ever many cups it takes to empty the reservoir. Depending on the build up - you may need to do this 2 or 3 times. Also run about 2 more reservoirs of just clear water to help rinse out the vinegar mix (otherwise your next cup of coffee will not be what you expected). If this eliminates your problem, it should be done every 2-3 mths.

If that does not work - call Keurig's Customer Service # at 1-866-901-BREW (2739) Good Luck.

My amp becomes distorted when I turn my keyboard up. Both the Master Volume and the CH1 volume knobs are in the middle(12 o'clock). How do I keep my amp from distorting?

You left off the one bit of info we need... however, make sure the volume control on the keyboard is around the halfway point... If it is way down, turn it up and reduce the channel volume knob some. Make sure the cable from the keyboard is an instrument rated interconnect and not one intended for speaker (usually marked as such). Make sure the keyboard AND this amp are powered from the SAME receptacle... even if you have to run an extension cord. Listen with headphones on your keyboard to make sure the sound is clean there.

I don't get a constant stream of water from my Karcher 2500 psi pressure washer. instead is shoots in spurtss.

Make sure that while you are running your pressure washer, other machines that pull

large volumes of water like a dishwasher or washing machine are not running. check and make sure

the hose you have tied to the pressure washer is not collapsing or has any kinks in it.

check the filter where your water hose ties in to your pressure washer, make sure it

is clean and does not have any debris or hardwater buildup, clean the tip at the tip of

the wand. if it is reduced in size by hardwater buildup, will not work properly, good luck!

Hello, I own a hotrod deluxe. I take great care for it and never move it. Normally on the clean channel, the volume is regulated by the volume and the master. Today the amp sounded only half as loud as...

Do you turn on standby every time and wait for the tubes to heat up first? If you don't, it can severely damage the tubes.
But a common cause of this could be just old tubes. Like any other piece of technology, tubes get old. If you like to play your amp LOUD then they wear out a lot quicker. You have to replace tubes every now and then. Because I'm not there to check out your amp, I can't give you an exact answer but it sounds like that's the problem. This isn't always a bad thing. You can make the sound of your amp exponentially better with nicer, new tubes. Your amp has 12AX7 tubes. Very common tubes to use actually. I'm not sure what kind of music you play, I'm assuming mostly rock and blues. But here is a list of tubes and reviews on them.

This is how to replace a tube:

A note he doesn't make in the video is to dust out your amp. I use the compressed dust spray for the inside of computers.
So overall, stop turning up your amp to 11, make sure it's well ventilated and dust it out from time to time. Hope this helped.

Extreme fluctuation of TV sound leval drives me nuts!!!!

arn't all french movies in whisper and dark screen mode?

I suggest using an amplifier ( yes an amp) reduce the volume on TV to just audible and plug in xtension line to an amp and set the volume on it. It is probably a faulty sound board in your unit. The use of an external amp will control it better by the audio out line.

Low ohms light flashes and bass distorts at high volume

Sounds like you need to invest in a capacitor. Those are used when subs receive a bass spike. You just a need a 1 Farat Capacitor (1,000 watts) ran between the head unit and the amplfiier to fix your issue. Also, try reducing the volume gain to half gain and low pass frequency to half gain; this will increase your clarity and make your amp less hot. This may fix it without a capacitor. Also find out what amprage your alternator is. Your alternator may not be designed to run the amplifier. Most alternators are 200 amps now if they are gold plated.

Hope this helps
