How to replace bulb onPfFF TIPTRONIC 2030

To change the bulb in the Pfaff Tiptronic 2030, you need the bulb remover that was in the original accessory package. Push the bulb remover up into the sewing machine (at the bulb) as far as it will go. Rotate the tool (and the bulb) one-half rotation counter-clockwise. Bring the tool and the bulb down and remove the bulb from the remover tool. To put the new bulb back in, put it into the diagonal holder until the pins engage. Push the bulb up into the lamp holder of sewing machine as far as it will go. Rotate the bulb one-half rotation clockwise. Remove the bulb changer tool. The bulb should remain in the sewing machine. This, https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/bulb-remover-412570101.aspx , may be the correct replacement for the tool.

Pfaff has many of their sewing machine manuals on their machine support page. The Tiptronic 2030 support is here: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Support/272 . The current link to the manual is http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/Tiptronic_2030_2040-manual-EN.pdf?ext=.pdf . See page 139 (132 of the PDF) for the directions to change the bulb.

I hope this helps.

Where is the light on Pfaff 2029?

The light on the Pfaff 2029 is inside the machine near the needle threader. It's to the left of the needle bar near the front of the space behind the front cover. To access the bulb, first remove the accessory tray then use the bulb removal tool. Push up on the bulb as far as it will go and then rotate the bulb and removal tool one-half rotation counter-clockwise. To replace the bulb, insert the new bulb into the lamp changer and guide into the bulb housing. Rotate the unit one-half rotation clockwise. Remove the lamp changer and the bulb will stay in the sewing machine.

Pfaff has the manual for the Classicstyle Home 2029 on the product support site: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Machines/classicstyle-home-2029 . The current link to the manual is http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/ClassicStyleHome2029-manual-EN.pdf?ext=.pdf . The light position and replacement is shown on page 4:2 (page 45 of the PDF).

I hope this helps.

Reverse button won't work. Anh trouble shooting tips?

This button simply reverses the action of the feed dogs of the machine. Remove the thread plate and all the mechanism (bobbin, bobbin holder, etc) you can in the bobbin area. This should give you a better view of the operation of the feed dogs. Rotate the machine with the hand wheel to see how it operates. Continue rotating the hand wheel and push the reverse button. See if you can spot what's preventing the feed mechanism from reversing its rotation. Hopefully it's as simple as material or thread buildup in the mechanism.

Bobbin shuttle doesn't move

Look in your book.

- There is a bobbin (clear plastic) it rotates.
- The bobbin fits into the bobbin case (black), it does not rotate.
- The bobbin case is nested into the shuttle which does rotate.

There is no bobbin shuttle.

Fix bobbin tension

A couple questions. 1. Is the needle in correctly? This is the most common error. 2. Is the top thread threaded correctly? 3. Is your machine an old singer with a broken hook gear? Put your finger on the rotating hook, press and hold, turn you hand wheel AWAY from you and see if the hook stops rotating at some point in it's rotation. That would be a broken gear.

Singer sewing machine bobbin case keeps moving causing the needle to break.

Is this a front loading bobbin or top? If it is a vertical front loader with the little metal bobbin case, the metal case has to be lined up and snapped firmly into place. You should hear it snap and lock into place.

If it\'s a horizontal or top loading bobbin, and the plastic bobbin "tray" is rotating, then it may not have been nested in properly, before replacing the plate, or may be "jagged" somewhere... If there is a burr on the casing, or as in the case of one machine I worked on, still have a piece of needle stuck in it, the thread will snag on it before it finishes rotating and the rotating motion catches half way and will jerk the case right around and the next stitch will break the new needle.. Those plastic bobbin "trays" are usually easy to find and replace if they have become too burred to use. I have also sanded them smooth again as well though.

To test it, unplug the machine, thread your machine on top, but leave off your bobbin lid and leave out your bobbin, hold the top thread (like when you are about to crank to pull up a bobbin loop) and hand crank toward you, or counter-clockwise one complete rotation. Watch to see if the top thread is caught by the rotation hook and slips all the way around and back over the top of the bobbin tray, or if it snags on it somewhere.... Good luck!

How to rotate a design that is to big vertical, will fit hortiz. on a singer future 6000.

Isn't your fabirc big enough to hoop it vertically, but stitch it
horizontally?
Do you own a Singer PSW? Easy to edit with this program.
Or you should be able to do in your Singer XL-6000 conversion tools.
Failing that you can rotate a design in the machine itself, simply on the machine by touching the hoop tab on the touch screen (second icon from the right) and then selecting the rotate icon (second from the top) then rotate the design?
Although I have known some designs to not rotate - due to the needle positions during the sewing and jumping process.
Hope some of these ideas are helpful to you.

it sounds like the machine needs to be checked at a sewing
machine repair shop, to see there is anything wrong with the

.Editing Patterns

the rotate button uses the 90/180/270/360 formula..seems you'll need to rotate it a full cycle to get it to behave the way you want..here's the link for the manual, if you don't have it.

get the adobe reader first here.
