If you are set on resetting your computer.....hit ctrl+f10 while the computer boots up. If that dosnt work....try holding the 'O' key down while it boots up. should take you to restore to factory settings.

When forgot Windows password, you can follow these ways to reset Windows password. You can
firstly check your password hints left when created password or use password
reset disk created before forgetting the password. Besides, using password
reset tools such as Windows Login Recovery, Ophcrack, LCP, etc.
Not sure what password you are looking for. If you are going to restore your laptop to factory condition, you won't need any password. Just boot from the recovery CD/DVD or if you are presented with a recovery option at startup, choose that.
Factory settings -> Means the settings set by the OEM vendors when your first receive your PC/Laptop. You cannot boot into the factory settings once you have configure your PC/Laptop to your personal settings, but you can boot to "Safe Mode" and use the "Administrators" account to reconfigure other Users settings. To get back to "Factory Settings" you can use the OEM "Recovery CD" or "Recovery function from your Hard drive" depending on the OEM Vendors specifications for your PC/Laptop.
**Take note,All your data will be lost when you reverting your PC/Laptop to factory settings!!!

Tap the F8 Key as soon as the Laptop is powered on, keep tapping it till it brings you to Boot Choice Menu Options.. Options such as: Safe Mode, Safe Mode w/ Networking, Last Known Good Config..etc... are listed here..
Press and hold the F12 Key If You Need To Get To Boot Choices.. Such As Boot From CDrom, Boot From LAN, Boot From USB Device..
