SOURCE: Washed-out color.

Looks like you need some printer profiling...
Washed out prints can be caused by several things... Let's see if we can sort it out.
It could be your printer, or it could be your monitor giving you false readings.
Printer Profiles: If you do not have the correct printer profile, then your prints may turn out faded. This is a gamma thing. You are encouraged to calibrate your monitor, and go to the printer manufacturer web site and look up your printer to see if they offer the correct RGB and CYMK printer profile.
Poor quality paper: most likely the problem is a poor quality paper. You did not indicate what printer and what paper you are using, so we cannot help much. However, try a sheet of the high quality photo paper and see if the colors print more vivid and saturated.
If the above doesn't help, I suggest you find someone else with a different printer who is willing to bring it over and print from your computer. That will proof the printer either in or out of the equation.
If none of this helps let us know and we'll walk you through the creation of a custom printer profile and custom color space.

SOURCE: my priter prints blue lines across all colored pictures or text

Have you tried cleaning the print heads or replacing the color cartridge? where as it it printing black fine it leads me to believe the problem lies in the color cartridge. my first recomendation would be to run the clean print head wizard in the printer settings and if that does not work then replace your color cartridge.

SOURCE: new printer cartridge in Lexmark 8350; blue lines on pics and papers

In Lexmark printers the ink cartridges can get clogged sometimes. Re-cleaning the nozzles might help fix your problem. Make sure your ink cartridge is not getting empty.
Hope this helps.

Large yellow spots floating across TV screen

Adjusting the Color Temperature

Color temperature refers to how red (warm) or blue (cool) the color palette is. This control helps you to adjust the color settings on your TV. You can change the color settings by following these steps:

- Using the TV remote, select settings and look for a menu item labelled video or picture.
- Select Color Temperature. A slider should appear that allows you to slide between cool and warm colors. The colors might also be labelled red or blue.
- Slide the settings away from red/warm and towards blue/cool using the remote control. You can leave the slider at the point where the color is most pleasing to you.

I have some distored blue color across the screen

Projection sets have two very common problems.

The first common problem is convergence

These sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the picture to look normal. This is called convergence.

When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired. Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung,JVC,Philip Magnavox,Panasonic,Akai,Pioneer, Hitachi,Mitsubishi,Zenith and others.
You can get more information and a DIY convergenece repair kit with instructions from the link below.

Here are some of the most common problems with these sets...

*Screen Looks 3-D
*Colors wont align
*Screen may look distorted or warped
*No Audio/Video - TV Shuts down - May also make a constant chirping sound

Problem #2 - Another common problem is dull or washed out video.

Your set may have one or more of the following symptoms....

*Dull looking picture
*White looking picture
*Halos around objects
*Red/Orange looking picture

Tiny dots about 1 inch apart down the side of page

Again, this was actually HP Laserjet 3800. Problem solved by chatting with HP, and them having me go into a diagnosis mode that disabled cartridge check. Then, I removed the cyan cartridge, the dots went away. They then had me put the black into the cyan slot, and not dots appeared. I had backup toner on hand, swapped in a new cyan and magenta, and all was good. HP agreed to replace the cartridges.

Red, green, and blue rectangular "chads" or squares across top of screen

Hi there, this is easy thing to fix. Its LDV cable. This is the Cable which goes from the main board on to the screen. Un plug the cable from the screen side., then push the cable back. Make sure cable sits in .

This will sort all the problems with the picture,i.e colour problem , picutre squring up and many more things.
