First off, have you dropped or otherwise impacted the camera, taken it to a sandy area, or spilled a sticky drink or water on it?

If dropped, then there is a flex under the bottom on the rewind side (or where it used to be) that can be broken by impact. Nikon does not sell this part, it would have to go to Nikon.

Check the mirror. Sometimes it is pushed to the left by impact and lodges against rather than on the stop. You should be able to gently lift the mirror. If the mirror is stuck, you may be able to gently lift it up and free it until it once again rests on the top of the stop.

There were a lot of defective main boards for this model. If you have consistently had problems, then send it to Nikon. I believe there have been 3 modifications of this board to solve a non-power problem.

How old are your batteries? If your batteries are more than a year old, especially if they are non-Nikon batteries, they may have gone bad and not be able to store enough amperage to operate the camera.

Testimonial: "Because i didnt know what is the problem i buy a new battery and charged it so its not the battery Not problem with the mirror neither. Its not stuck"

Nikon d3000 sat in rain....put in bag of rice to dry it...now message on screen reads"this battery cannot be used. Please use battery designated for this camers."

Could be the error has nothing to do with the rain at all. The camera is perhaps 4 years of age? some batteries last for 10 years. But some can't survive 2 or 3 years. All depends on how they were used or abused. When normal charged and discharged in a regular cycle, the battery can survive 1000 cycles. When left alone for very long periods it damages the battery. See if you know someone with a Nikon camera that uses the same battery and try his battery in your cam and put your battery (if he or she allows this) in the the other camera. If another battery works correct, no need to test your battery in another camera.
You also could look in the battery compartment is the connection points are corroded by the water. ls check the contacts on the battery. Eventually clean it with contact fluid. don't scratch the contacts, because the will corrode very quick after that.

Nikon D3000 battery won't charge when plugged into my pc

It's not supposed to. In fact, connecting your camera to your computer will drain the battery faster since the camera has to use juice to communicate with the computer (even if only to say it has nothing to say). You need to take the battery out of the camera and put it into the supplied charger in order to charge it.

Can someone help me on my nikon D3100 freeze problem?

New battery that is fully charged. My Nikon D3100 has had the problem of freezing every ten or so pics since it was a couple of months old. Still does it today after six months of use. I take a few hundred pics with it when shooting but only shoot once or maybe twice a month.

Have to take the battery out, put it back in etc. each time. Sometimes it allows me to power off and then back on but either way it's a pain in the rear and a serious "time waster".

Coolpix S3000 will not charge

The camera does not charge the battery. You need to take the battery out of the camera and put it into the battery charger, then connect the battery charger to an electrical outlet.

Nikon D3000. Exposure lock with focus problem.

Probably your lens causes this I think. Please check these.

1. Your lens may cause this. Change it and try again. If you do not have another lens then go on to check the next instrutions.
2. Check your lens AF button. It should be switched to AF.
3. Turn off and on the camera and try again.
4. Check your battery charging.
5. Your lens should be cleaned complitely. Please check its clearity.

I think it will work. But if it does not work properly again then your camera should be checked.

Clean your camera mirror. For this:
1. Turn off your camera.
2. Remove your lens.
3. Clean your mirror without using water or any other liquid or any other chemicals. Use only special cleaning liquid that is made for lens cleaning.
4. If it does not work then your camera body should be checked electronically and mechanically. This check can only be done with an authorized service tecnician. So you should send your camera to your service dealer.

Nikon D3000 Monitor is black when taking a picture - any way to change it?

You can get the shooting information on it. If you're looking to use the D3000 as a point&shoot by viewing the image on the screen, then no, you have to use the viewfinder.
