The Speaker no longer accept the charge from the DC power supply. what can I do about this? l have gone to the retailer where I purchased the unit and they are no longer selling the XtremeMac Soma 360. So I as the Consumer am at a loss. I tried calling 866-329-9800 but all I got was an automated response telling me to write my problem and wait for a reply. So please Tell me what my options are. Thanks sincerely , Nicholas.

Did you try the xtrememac.com website? It looks pretty poor, but there is a contact link that has a form to contact customer service. The problem is either in the charging circuit or the battery. I don't know how you charge it, so I can't offer much other than the connectors are usually the culprit. The other possibility that comes to mind is the battery. If it's the battery, you'll need to contact them. Batteries only recharge so many times.

You'll definitely need a power cord for those speakers to work.
Most AC converters should work, even if they aren't at 1.0A

Want to purchase a 2 nd soma speaker but will it bluetooth connect separate from 1st speaker .want to use speakers in separate rooms playing off one blue tooth feed

No, you will only be able to connect 1 device to 1 bluetooth speaker, but you could connect the device to 1 speaker using the line in jack and then connect to the other speaker using the bluetooth!

I cannot get any sound when plugging in my iphone

Is your stereo speaker turned on ? As far as I know, it does not come with an AC adapter because it takes its juice from whatever Apple device is plugged in. Maybe your phone does not have enough of a charge to power both the speaker and the phone. You could also try to turn up the volume on the speaker and/or the phone.

To me it looks as if the battery is not charged ok. I'm not sure if you can monitor the battery voltage, but if you could, and you saw the voltage drop bellow a certain voltage and the speaker stopped there, and you could repeat this that would be the case. But perhaps you just charge the battery and discharge it a few times, before you panic. Some batteries only start working with full power after a few charges.

Background hum

I fixed the same issue by replacing the original AC power supply with a 13.8 volt DC power supply (Radio Shack) It seems to be more consistent at high SPL and no hum , as the Boston acoustic unit accepts either AC or DC power.

Panasonic SC-PT467 Wireless speakers Clicking

I had this exact problem. The clicking is something to do with interference from the power supply cable. It seems that facing the wireless unit in the most obvious way ensures that the power cable and the right speaker cables cross. All I did was turn the unit around so that the wires no longer crossed and magically the clicking sound disappeared forever!!!

Good luck !!
