We just moved to Europe, The Netherlands. Of course I took my CAPRESSO C1000 with me. I was wondering whether the internal transformer can be replaced with one that works with 220V, or whether it can

Tried to buy a step-down transformer but it is very expensive and heavy.

What does the label say on the base does it say
110-240v
i dont think it will
you can use a 250v to 110v if it came from the states
it will use 110v so you need a step down
ignore the differance from 220v to 240v its not that important 20v in the main
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_kw=240+110+transformer

youll find one on ebay cheep
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=220v%20to%20110v&ssPageName=GSTL

check the wattage the maker uses and get a transformer that can supply enough juce

i would take it too a local shop sells electronics like maplin mondo radioshake local similar
and they can guide you with free advice

Most unlikely it can be replaced. the whole design needs to be changed. a stepdown transformer has to be heavy rating to handle the machine, otherwise the transformer will burn out.

I need to clean my capresso c1000. i can't find the instructions. i put a cleaning tablet into the ground coffee area, and ran the ground coffee button a few times. is that it?

No, first push the self clean button (hold until lights come on). Then pull the grounds unit and empty it, that will turn off one red light. Fill the water tank. Then drop the tablet. Then hit the ground coffee button. Cycle through and dump the grounds each time the grounds light illuminates.

I have a capresso C1000, and I looking for the pump plastic tubing

Quite possibly, you can find what you're looking for at an aquarium supply store. They have different types & sizes of tubing.

Quit in the middle of the cleaning process

call capresso, they will go through the whole machine for a small fee, or offer you a new model at a reduced cost

Capresso C1000 - Coffee is going into the coffee grounds bin rather then

I had this same problem water going into the grounds disposal chamber, plus all green and red lights flashing. Was told if I could clear the lights to clean the screen and run a tablet cleaning. I was able to clear the lights tried to run the cleaning but it failed again. I have had my machine for over 4 years so instead of sending it back I decided to take it apart. The problem I found is an O-Ring that runs inside of the compression pump chamber failed, if I can find an O-ring that is the same size I believe it will be as good as new.
