How do I re-set my CLOK TCR338 to not read in military time?

I have the manual that came with the CLOK but it says nothing on how to get out of military time that the CLOK is currently displaying.

Heres an answer another question had that might assist u in some way:
Hi,

According to the instructions that we received with our clock. You should be able to get the Instruction manual from [email protected]. It is also supposed to be under the support section of the website www.dpi-global.com but I couldn't find such a link.

However the "Operational Support" insert has the following:

Setting the clock
1. With the unit powered off, press and hold the "Clock/Display/Play/Pause Button" for at least 4 seconds.
2. While holding the "Clock/Display/Play/Pause Button", press the "Hour" and "Minute Buttons" to adjust the hour and minute on the time.
3. When the correct time is selected, release the "Clock/Display/Play/Pause Button" to set the clock

Setting the Alarms
1. With the unit powered off, press and hold the "AL1" or "AL2" Button for at least 4 seconds.
NOTE: An alarm icon will begin to flash on the LCD display.

2. While holding the "AL1" or "AL2" Button, press the "Hour" and "Minute Buttons" to adjust the hour and minute on the alarm time.

3. When the correct time is selected, release the "AL1" or "AL2" Button to set the clock.

4. Press the "AL1" or "AL2" Button consecutively to switch alarm one and alarm two between sounding to a buzzer, the currently set radio station, or a docked iPod.

After much frustration, I found the solution...
Push the set button while on time mode. Push mode until the hour is flashing.Push Split/Reset.

Our clock reads Military time ever since a terrific rain storm, it didn't get wet. We set it at Mt time and it's OK until midnight and then it goes to Military time. Our manual got lost and don't know...

keep pushing the hour button through the 24th hour. Then it cycles into the 12 hour mode. If you keep pushing the hour button again through the am and pm it will cycle into the 24 hour mode again. Etc.

Time is on military time. want to switch to

If you have the manual then it should explain how to change from "24" to "12" display.

If you haven't got the manual then some experimenting my find the solution to your problem. One of the buttons should cycle through the settings menu and in there should be an option to set the display.

Set watch

I have a G Shock DW-004 made in 1997. I had this same problem, and I tried everything to change TO military time and back to standard time. I just read the bit to try and was about to do it. I pressed the top left button to get the time to flash, and hit the light button by accident (the one with the big G on it) and VIOLA! It changed to military time. So in my model, anyway, the G light button (under the display on the edge of the watch body) changed the time to military from standard and back again, when the time is flashing.

Good luck!
