I want to ear regular tv thought my system from a 45 inch samsung flat screen tv
This is an older home theater package and only has component video out for HD and RCA or SPDIF optical out for audio. You'll need to locate the component video input on the back of your flat panel and connect it to the component output of the Phillips unit. Component cables have 3 RCA cable (Red, Blue, Green) for HD. You can use a RED/WHITE RCA cable for audio but if you have a SPDIF Optical cable you should use that for better sound. The TV should have that as an input also. You will need to go into the Menu for the TV and select component video and SPDIF optical if you went that route for audio.
Testimonial: "It's not working my tv have AUDIO IN (R and L )or (Pr and Pb and Y )and also have a DVI audio IN , what do I connect it to on the surround sound AUDIO( AUX IN )or (TV IN )or (LINE IN )?"
There is also AUDIO OUT and it's LINE OUT not IN
And need to know what to set my tv on and what to set the sound on
Pr Pb and Y are for video only. Your home theater will connect from it's component out put to that input on the TV. You need to use the AUDIO OUT (R and L) on your TV and run those RCA connections to the Audio in on the back of the home theater unit. Your TV remote should have an INPUT button. You should now have COMPONENT video as a selection for input. I'm not aware of what cable or satellite input you have but that would likely be HDMI 1 or 2 if you have an HDMI cable coming from your cable or satellite receiver.
