There is no sound from the speakers .but when I plug in a headphone there is no problem . I then plugged in another set of speakers and there is not audio also.
Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. Well, you answered your own problem. You need to get it fixed.
SOURCE: Headphone Jack
the plastic pieces on the top and bottom are just stick on. pry them off gently and you'll find four of the tiniest screws on the top and bottom(you'll need a precision screwdriver) after you remove the screw pull the metal pieces on top and bottom off carefully with the screwdriver. the whole piece is shoehorned in, but it will push out just far enough to reveal the aux. jack. you'll probably find that this piece is cracked and that is why it only play through one or no sides. i'm still looking to find this piece.
hope this is helpful to you,.

Your plug-in is not functioning properly. It appears it has become loose over prolonged use and is dirty. I suggest clean the plug-in by blowing air OR with a soft cotton wad slightly moistened with mild detergent ( Best is ear cleaning buds). Also check the wiring connection in the audio jack as that also can be loose OR fix a new Audio Jack
