Will the deli drawer work properly without the glass door/lid? The pin broke off the right side and can't be fixed ... plastic broke off the actual drawer roller on the right. Cheap plastic ... disapp

Door is off so deli contents are open to the rest of the fridge. Tried to glue pin back on but no luck. Looks like I can replace the right drawer mechanism but can't tell. I haven't tried to pull the whole drawer yet, just fix the pin. Held for a few days but no go ... Thanks for any assistance!

Call in a repair man, it shouldn't cost that much. Yes, your food will be effected without that plastic door, as the drawer has controls and cold settings just for deli items. You need a special glue for cold. I'd call in a repair man, or order a new drawer replacement from the manufacturer.

SOURCE: Right Door is making loud popping noise

After reading these posts, I fixed my refrigerator door in less than 5 minutes. The little black plastic cam on the bottom hinge was loose. To fix it, take the hinge cover off of the top with an 8mm socket, and remove the three 8mm screws holding the top hinge on. Remove the door by lifting up off of the bottom hinge and set it aside. On the bottom hinge is a black plastic cam held on by an 8mm screw. The screw on mine was really loose. Tightening it and putting the door back on made it work like new. You probably don't have a bad cam, just a loose one.

SOURCE: Refrigerator door fell off.

Fridge fell off in my hand. I understand the idea of how it works on a lower and higher metal pivot. The pivot closest to floor seems to be missing a washer, screw or nut. I need an illus of what may be a missing part. Then an idea of how the door is lifted onto said pivot- With Ease!!

SOURCE: The deli drawer popped out and when I tried to put

If that piece broke, you may need to replace that part, I wouldn't recommend any gluing.

How to install deli pantry door

I surely hope I can help, as I have faced the same problem.
The door and the surrounding areas are all plastic, and hence they will bend.
Installing a new door requires bending the whole area very slightly , just enough to get the pins into the holes, not enough to break anything.
This may take you a while.
The key work is "gentle".
If you think some lubricant might help, a little shortening or cooking oil can help.
God bless your efforts.

The plastic peg that attaches the deli drawer lid to the refrigerator wall broke off. I can see no way to fix it. The peg seems to be part of the fridge wall. It goes into a hole in the lid. Designers...

There are many specialist adhesives available today so broken plastic is no longer the problem it once was.
The main problem is such things as industrial strength superglue for plastics or ultraviolet curing plastics adhesive are fairly expensive and mostly not available from the average hardware store.

Trade outlets and suppliers to the plastic door and window trade or an internet search.

Took our deli drawer to clean. Can't reassemble. Help

If it's the deli drawer from the bottom of you refer and you took the entire assembly out at once you will know because it all came apart when you started cleaning it. If it's got two drawers then you now have a piece of glass a frame with legs on it and two drawers. So open the refer all the way, look at the back and the sides where you removed it from, you'll see some groves or ridges or little nubs take the frame by its self and fit it into those places you see, then take the drawers one at a time ( usually the one closest to the door hinge is best to start) and slide them back into place. take your time because like a dresser drawer there is a notch that you will have to work with that's designed to keep you from pulling it completely out when you open it. then place the glass into the frame on top and your done.

I purchased whirlpool GX5FHTXVA and there is a divider piece of plastic taped to the bottom of deli drawer, I have no idea where it goes. It is not in the manuel.

The wider end of the piece can be hooked anywhere on the back of the deli drawer. Keep the piece bent when you install it or it will scratch the glass on the front of the drawer. Also, make sure the tip of the smaller end is touching the bottom of the drawer before straightening the divider._1165.jpg

Flood switch

I had the same problem and I fixed mine. It wasn't hard at all. First, make sure power is off either unplug or shut off breaker. Next, open the lower drawer and on the sides toward the bottom you will see a circular recessed pin with a flat slot. Without forcing, wiggle the door down. When you get it off you have to remove the wire harness, just unplug it. Now, on the sides at the bottom, you will see where the drawer fits on the slid rail. Push the plastic button slightly to release the lock for the slid rail to the drawer and push the slid rail all the way back as to release the drawer fronm the rail. Be carefull when you release one side as to hold it up still while removing the other one. Now, flip the drawer on its side and try to get it as far out of the way as possible to the right of the unit. You will now notice a plastic cover at the back left of the unit. This is where the flood swith is. Remove this cover by sliding to the right. The will be water under the circuit board you see. Soak up as much as possible and you can use a hair dryer to get the tough spots. Now try to find the resson for the water. I had a mouse living under mine. Look for a break in one of the hoses. After all dried up turn power back in before reinstalling lower drawer. If dried properly, the dishwasher should stop beep beep beeping. Now turn water back on and run upper drawer. Inspect hoses again. 50/50 chance. If now water, reinstall lower by replacing plastic cover, place drawer on rails and slide all the way back. It should click back in if on rails correctly. Now install the door face, line up tabs into drawer, and slide up. Align holes for recessed circular pins and just push them in. Test lower. Thats all I got, Hope it helps.

Sliding drawer in the top refrigerator section

hi i have the 700tc as well,,ok the best way to place the drawer,,,extend the 2 sliders all the way out,,there is one pin at the end of each slider and 1 hole on each side of the drawer lip which lays on the track ,,,the holes on the drawer must fall into the pins otherwise it will not close,,,so place the drawer on top of the slider ,,,what usually happens is the sliders tend to roll back into the housing of the fridge,,,so while the drawer is resting on the sliders reach under the lip of the drawer and pull each slider until the the holes of the drawer falls into the pins,,,when the drawer is seated in the pins it will close smooth,,,hope this helps
