Try downloading ccleaner. www.ccleaner.com I their "tools" section, you should run the uninstaller for that program. It is a FREE downlaod and I have used it for years...

Installing print shop 23 on windows 8.1 get framework incompatibility error. what should i do?

I now have PrintShop 23.1 up and running on my Windows 8.1. This is what worked for me:
1. First, RIGHT CLICK on the Printshop icon on your desktop, select Properties, click on Compatibility, and make the selection to run the program in Compatibility Mode for Windows 8. Click Apply, then OK to exit.
2. Double click the Printshop icon on your desk top to open Printshop. If it works - great! However, if it does NOT work, it means the .NET framework required to run the program was uninstalled or corrupted by the Windows 8.1 upgrade and needs to be reinstalled, so please do the following.
3. From your Control Panel, select Programs and Features; in Programs and Features, uninstall Printshop. (You get to the Control Panel by clicking on Settings in your desktop popout taskbar, usually on the right side.) 4. Check to make sure the Microsoft .NET framework is also uninstalled. If not, attempt to uninstall. If you have recently gone to Windows 8.1, it may be partly or fully uninstalled because the 8.1 upgrade might have removed (or damaged) part of it. If it will not uninstall, don't worry! Proceed . . . 5. Follow this step even if you see no sign of the .NET framework in Programs and Features. It is almost certain that you have debris from it on your computer because this is a known problem, and Printshop will not reinstall unless the debris is removed. THEREFORE, clean your computer by using the Microsoft .NET Framework Cleanup Tool found at the following link:
.NET Framework Cleanup Tool http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspx
6. AFTER Printshop is once again installed, it will very likely NOT RUN unless you follow Step #1, above, to run it in Windows 8 Compatibility Mode.

Failed to calculate hash for 'c:\Program

Basically the McAfee self-test has failed - you either have a corrupted file or are infected by some form of malware or virus.

1) Download Avast!
2) Download Adaware
3) Download HiJackThis
If you do not have them
4) Disconnect from the Internet
5) Install all programmes in this order HiJackThis, Adaware, Avast! and Run each immediately after they have been installed
6) If you wish to continue running McAfee then uninstall it
7) Reboot computer
8) Install McAfee
9) As you should not have two Anti-Virus Programmes running uninstall Avast! - Although I believe Avast! to be a better product
10) Reboot Computer
11) Reconnect to Internet

That should be you go to go

If this helped you, then please help me and vote, thank you

I need free trial f anti virus

I would recommend AVG or COMODO. But, remove (uninstall) any existing anti-virus software, first. You cannot have 2 anti-virus software running on the same PC.

Downloading

Hi kja2 ,

2 anti-virus software can not co-exist on a computer system ; therefore you did the correct thing by uninstalling the old anti-virus first . However , there are lots of anti-viruses which do not get deleted (uninstalled) by going to Start > control panel > Add/Remove program. These anti-virus have to be removed by special "uninstallers" . I do not know which Anti-virus you have on your system , therefore I will provide you with the link of most common anti-virus uninstallers :

Symantec: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
McAfee: http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/displayDoc.asp?docID=408302&categoryId=246&lastCategoryLog=1&HotT
Trend Micro: http://esupport.trendmicro.com/support/viewxml.do?ContentID=EN-1033129

once the antivirus is removed through the uninstaller , then try installaing the new anti-virus which was giving you "files corrupt" message ... it will then work fine.
Also , . I would like to suggest you a very good anti-virus which you can download free of cost from internet :

Goodluck :-)
