Having trouble connecting my Seiki TV to WIFI

Mine started to do the same today Seiki SE43FGT


30sec to 1 minute then auto shutdown.

Funny I've seen 3 other posts from today Dec 1st with same problem

That is normally overheating or capacitor issues.

Probably inputting the wrong password!

Just forget your WiFi network in computer and search available WiFi networks again and you will see your WiFi network ten click it type password and use tick to remember my password

We know the adapter works as a wifi adapter. We DON'T know if your TV will accept ANY wifi adapter. What model is your TV?

Read the owners manual from the begining.
Reset the wireless connection at Seiki.seach it again the wireless statios and add it.

One reason I can think of for your problem is this: your TV detects several other protected WiFi networks (probably from your neighbors) in addition to your own, and it is likely that you entered the password for your network when trying to connect to another network. To check if this is the case and if you don't know your network's name (actually this is called the network's SSID), do the following: turn off your modem/router, then check what WiFi networks are detected by your TV. Write down the names of those networks. Turn your modem/router back on and see what networks are now detected by your TV. The new one on the list is your WiFI network's SSID. Make sure that you connect your TV to that new network.

Try:- Menu Settings Language and Region WiFi Region.....set to "EUROPE" Followed by: Menu WiFi Status WIFi ...important that pasword format corresponds to that of your WiFI system eg WEP or WPA. The type of format will dictate the length of code. Generally WPA can accept a longer code than WEP format although a short code can be used for either. If your Archos is set to WEP and your WiFi network set to WPA (or vice versa) the format conflict will not allow the correct password to recognised It should be possible to use the
