Ok so there are 3 electrical problems with this vehicle and there somehow all related to eachother. the 3 issues are abs light and brake light flash in dashboard .headlights dont function properly and when vehicle is running and headlights are turned on vehicle dies.confused? well i am.now im going to list all that ive discoverd while testing this vehicle.symptoms are as follows.#1 key not in ignition headlight switch off headlights are off.#2 key not in ignition headlight switch to parking lamp setting parking lamps work that is the only normal thing.#3 key not in ignition headlight switch on headlight setting only passanger side headlight works.#4 key in ignition vehicle running headlight switch off both headlights light even thou switch is off but the headlights are very dim.#5 key in ignition vehicle running headlight switch turned to parking lamp setting vehicle stays running.#6 key in ignition vehicle running headlight switch turned to headlight setting vehicle dies instantly.#7 vehicle turns over with headlight switch on but wont run unless you turn headlight switch back to off setting.#8 in addition that tuning headlights on cuts the power to run the vehicle but also if vehicle is running and headlight switch is off if you disconnect headlight bulb from either driver side headlight or passanger side headlight vehicle will also die and will not run unless headlight bulbs are plug back in. only one time this vehicle stayed running with headlights on and both abs light and brake light in dash board went out.but 99.9% of the time its like i said abs light and brake light flash in dash and vehicle will die if you either turn headlights on or remove headlight bulbs. wtf wtf wtf. all wires have been checked no bad wires .all fuses and relays have been checked all good none bad .in addition the battery alternator and starter have been checked and all tested fine also the pcm has been tested and tested fine.so my question is what the heck is going on with vehicle what is causing this cause it doesnt make sense to me and i have run out of things to look for.so can anyone please help
Normally this condition is the result of a poor body ground connection. Testing for this can be deceiving. At the static(nothing on) condition, testing can show a good ground. However when a circuit is excited, it has a determined resistance and a set current flow. If the ground connection to this or a branch circuit is loose, corroded, or broken wire. This will allow just enough connection to show as being good, but not good enough to complete the circuit with the required amount of connection when energized.
A bad ground on one of them.
First replace all the involved bulbs and if that doesn't work, check all the socket grounds.
