I have just bought a 1971 Spitfire mk4 and there is a knocking noise coming from the shaft nearest the diff. Seems like it is coming from this area when it is driven. It stops when the car stops.

Replace the drive shaft universal joint connecting the drive shaft to the rear/differential. Block the car front and rear of a tire, put your sprints shift leaver in neutral, lay on your side on the ground next to the car and reach in and grasp the drive shaft ay the rear and shake it. If it moves up and down and side to side, the u-joint is shot. Replace it.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE WEIGHT BENCH ?

Lay out all the pieces and check the instructions to make sure everything has been included with your weight bench. Attach the cross brace to the left upright beam and repeat the process for the right upright beam. Tighten them together with carriage bolts and set the backrest adjustment bar onto a slot on the upright beams.
Connect the main seat support beam to the cross brace with two carriage bolts, two washers, and two nuts. Do not completely tighten the nuts in place. Attach the main support beam to the front post with Allen bolts and washers. Connect the diagonal support beam to the front post in the same manner. Attach the other end of the diagonal support to the main seat support beam.
Place the arm curl stand in the front post and secure it in place with a lock knob. Tighten it down completely. Connect the leg developer post to the bracket on the front side of the front post. Attach the arm curl handle to the open bracket on the leg developer with an L-shaped lock pin.

71hekan4jtl._sl1500_-qw1ux3sfzoyydmyeq2qu2kbl-2-0.jpg Attach the bracket supports to both ends of the pivot arm of the support beam and lay the other ends on the backrest adjustment Pull up bar. Connect the backrest board to the supports with four hex bolts. Attach the seat pad with four hex bolts onto the main seat support.
Secure the preacher pad arm to the curl stand with two Allen bolts. Put two foam tubes into the leg developer halfway through the holes and attach the four foam rolls onto the ends of the tubes.

555 e backhoe front leaver lays over to side and the bucket curls out what could be the problem

Replace valve body.. sounds like your directional control valve body has a cylinder bypass condition. This is the valve body that your lever controls. Has 3-4 positions. Each position, when actuated allows fluid to flow, and transfers pressure to that position, which actuates a desired cylinder. The valve body consists of 2,3,4+ pistons which are kept at their home positions by a spring and fluid pressure. After a life of use, these pistons tend to wear the valve body cylinder bore, allowing fluid pressure to escape to an undesired action.

How do i assemble a stanley block plainer

1, Lay pencil on the table top, place body of plane with the front (toe) resting on the pencil, so the light passes beneath the front and middle of the plnes body.
2, lay blade, bevel side up, in to body of plane, ideally sharp end is sticking out of the mouth ever so slightly., 1/2-1mm.

3, Release the knob or lever cam on the lever cap and place on top of blade.

4, tighten knob/turn leaver till it tightens on the blade. and your ready.

5, If the blade isn't protruding the mouth correctly then:

6, Loosen a knob/lever a little to allow the blade to just move, adjust the blade forwards/sidways, lock it in place by re tighten the knob/lever.

Plane a thin piece of wood, re adjust as necessary till wafer thin shavings collect in the mouth ontop of the bevel.

JUKI MO 134 SERGER

How to Thread Juki MO-134 Serger from watching lady at Lyles. Turn upper blade up. Push in first then turn up.It makes threading easier. Blue Thread upper looper first. Pull thread through tension knob. Don'tjust lay it there. (She thought that is what I must have done) Orange Thread lower looper next. Pull thread through tension knob as inthreading upper looper. Adjust lower looper so it is right nextto upper looper so that their points are almost together and directly belowsewing needles. Lower looper will be in front of upper looper (I believe). With tread from upper looper pulledback, slightly lift lower looper above upper looper and thread. I think this isright. Pull thread back with other thread. Tension is the key. Remember that. Yellow: Thread left needle first.Remember tension. Pull thread through curled wire on left side of needle arm. Green: Thread right needle. Rememberabout tension. Pull thread through curled wire on right side of needle arm. b> Note: Before sewing turn the wheel tomake sure the stitches are going together correctly.

The 'drum' yellow light is constantly on, and the paper curls as it comes out rather than laying flat.

If you have the book for the printer or even electronic documentation, check the manual for troubleshooting tips. There should be something about the drum and the yellow light. You can try reseating the drum but it sounds like the drum may need to be replaced. Not sure on this model if it is a customer replaceable unit, but on many of the new printers they are.
