Hi. I had a similar problem... it can be fixed! Email facebook and explain what happened. Be patient and persistent.
send email to:
[email protected]
the first email I received back from them (day after I emailed) was generic saying:
"Our records indicate that there is not a disabled account associated with the address you are writing from. If you are referring to another account that has been disabled, please contact us directly from the email address you use to log in to that account..."
Except the email I was using DID belong to my missing account. So I replied with the SAME original message. And detailed what happened to my account.
I received a SECOND response, identical to the first.
I emailed them AGAIN detailing what happened.
FINALLY (about 1 1/2 weeks later) I received this email:
"Hi Chelsey,
Your original account has been reactivated and you should be able to access it now. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any further questions, please visit our Help Center at the following address:
http://www.facebook.com/help.php
Thanks for contacting Facebook,

IT CAN BE RESTORED!!!! :) [email protected]

Can't find box to activate code

How to Get a Confirmation Code on Facebook

When you sign up for a Facebook account, you get the chance to find old friends and make a few new ones. After you create your account, an email is sent to you that contains your confirmation code. You need this confirmation code to verify your account's creation. Once you enter it on Facebook, you are ready to start using the site. If you did not get your confirmation code, Facebook can send it to you again.

Instructions
    • 1

Open an Internet browser. Go to facebook.com. Enter your name, email, password, gender and birthday. Click "Sign Up."

    • 2

Go to the email address that you provided to Facebook. Open the Welcome email from Facebook to find the confirmation code.

  • 3. Check your email program's spam folder if you cannot find the email from Facebook. Some email services automatically see this message as spam.

  • 4

Go to the Confirm Facebook Account page if you still cannot find the email. Enter your email address. Click the drop-down menu and choose "I did not receive a confirmation email."

  • 5

Type more details about the problem, if desired, in the box below. Enter the name that you used to sign up for your account. Enter your birthday and click "Submit." Facebook will resend the email containing the code.

I want to change the email address on my facebook account. Can you help me do that?

Login to your facebook account using the current email address and password. Click "Account" on the top right corner of the page and select "Account Settings", the "My Account" page will open up, in the middle of the page, you'll see
    Name .............................------
    Username .......................-----
    Email .............................------
and so one, now look on the right side of the Email, you'll see "Change" in blue texts. Click it and enter your new email address in the space provided and click "Add New Email", another box will open up to enter your current password to verify that you are the real owner of the account. Enter the current facebook password and click "Confirm". You will receive a new mail from facebook on your new email address with a link to confirm. Open/login to your newly assigned email account and confirm. You are done, your new email address for your facebook has been changed.

If you need further help, let me know.

    Good luck.

    Thanks for using FixYa.

Can more than one person sign up for facebook under the same email account? My son has a facebook account connected to my email address. Now, I would like to sign up and it blocks it.

It is not possible. Facebook is allowing one e-mail per user. You need to use an alternate e-mail address to sign up for a Facebook account.
