Machine is less than two years old. Sounds like jet taking off on spin cycle. Unit was purchased Feb-Apr 2013 Has done so since 2-3 months after purchase. Thought this was normal for these. Now almost unbearable!
Unfortunately, you can't just replace the bearing because the bearing is located in the rear half of the outer tub. This is an extensive project but if you still feel like tackling it, then goto YouTube.com and type in, "How to change tub bearing on a whirlpool duet load washer.
