I have a casio x700 when using the fingerd options it stills plays the chord by pressing only one key.

Greetings,

It sounds like you've pre-programmed a certain sound that is usually only triggered by multiple keys into one key. The most efficient way to return to the way that you're searching for might be to perform a factory reset on your device. But you should back up any data into a USB stick before you perform the reset as all data in the Casio device will be reset.

Thank you.

Casio LK-100 keyboard is turning off often when chords are played, esp in lower octaves - seems like a short. Where might the short be - way to fix without taking the whole keyboard apart?

Sounds like a lack of power from the external "wall wart" power supply. Is it the correct one that can supply enough current for a chord to be played? (a chord will play more notes at the same time & pull more power from the supply in order to make the sound(s)) If it's the correct power supply or one of the correct current rating check the cable & the connector both at the end of the cable & where it plugs into the keyboard. Perhaps the lead has been tugged accidentally? / Damaged in some way? Turn the volume down a little & see if that helps - that will confirm the power theory :-) Good Luck!

My Casio CDP-220R IS OUT OF HOW TO FIX

Need to know more details about the problem:
What is it doing (or not doing) that needs fixed?

When did it start?

How long has it been doing (or not doing) the problem?

What were the circumstances of how the problem started?

And, probably one of the more important details, is it still under warranty?

Need more info, please.

How do i fix a dead key on my casio cdp 220r keyboard?

Hi,
I’m repairing a casio cdp-220r for the same reason. The F3 key does not sound at all and some adjacent keys sound louder than the rest at normal play attack. I will have to replace the entire octave memebrane as I found that it was broken when I finally got access to it. See phot

Hi, when I play a chord on my Casio-656 keyboard it sometimes sounds out of tune - if you hit the chord again it plays correctly. Is this a fault or a setting? It seems to be intermittent so that would...

I would check your fingering... You MAY be late in hitting a particular note and the using auto chord... this can cause the problem. Another thing is if notes are hit with different velocity that can affect the sound. Sometimes certain voices have VELOCITY switching which actually changes the voice depending on the velocity you hit a note.

Casio tonebank ct700 no sound from chords only whilest on fingered chord please advise

More info. If you are chording on the left half of the keyboard, SOMETIMES they allocate or have the option to select a different voice for the part where chords are played. For these, you have to ALSO select a voice for that half of the keyboard. If you don't select a voice, then you would not have anything sounding.

No chord will play while in fingered mode it is a casio tonebank ct700 model

NORMALLY "fingered" mode means that you have to "finger" the chord, that is, play all the notes of the chord. It sounds like it IS working as designed.
