My 02 eclispe ran great then my key got used in a02 chrysler with a bad ign switch now my car wont start because of no fire is there a connection or do i just have to reset fob

Bad battery or ign seitch

check crank sensor wiring connection
as it runs great there is no belt or timing problem but wiring and connections may not be correct

try spraying an aerosol lubricant down the ign key into switch barrel and gently pull if wont move have to strip out the cowling covering the ign switch and remove the ign switch to get the key out ,look on u-tube as there are numerous videos posted on this type of problem

that\'s the thing about new cars. they suck. all this electrical this, electrical that, you are sheit out of luck bud. junk it and buy something older that most people know how to fix.

sounds loke timing off and or crossed wire or bad wiring check connections to plugs may have a bad wire or connection

It can be the issue with weak battery or faulty battery or if battery is ok,then its faulty starter causing the issue.

sounds like a bad wire connection see they hook that up through the same ign wires the key uses to start it i would pull the auto start module and check for bad conn and on the key not starting it could be a couple of things 1 as explained before bad conn 2 a bad ign switch at the keyswitch

Make sure battery cables are tight and posts of battery are not loose

GO TO YOUR CHRYSLER/DODGE DEALER AND GIVE THEM YOUR VIN NUMBER AND THEY CAN CUT YOU ANOTHER KEY FOR YOUR VEHICLE.
