If you are so sure that your CCTV is online, then you need to download the mobile app for your smartphone and configure it by using your DVR or Camera serial number, if you can view your CCTV through the mobile app, then your CCTV is truly online.

Yes you can definitely view your CCTV footage on your mobile phone at your work via internet. Sentient CCTV DVR basically is a night vision camera. You must know the IP of the camera and IP Video server. Connecting your phone to CCTV camera via the protocol you can view the CCTV footage's in your phone. Night vision cameras are used for surveillance purpose. I would prefer cctv camera with ir illuminator for good image quality in the night time that will clear footage quality in my phone.

first you need to forward TCP ports in your router pls write down which TCP ports used for video , audio and control in your DVR and configure to forward this tcp ports in your router
it can be do one step using disable the DMZ and it will make less sequrity in your internal network

Check power cabling, and that the switch is making contact. If this is all good, you can use a multimeter to determine whether power is getting into the board from the power supply. My bet is on a dead power supply/inverter.

I would suggest installing a hidden camera. You can find a good deal at this cctv equipment store. Talk to the people. They can give discounts on out going models.

Next you need a cctv Viewing service for $1/day. Real Security guards will view your cam 24x7 and call you when something undesirable starts. You can then immediately call you wife and subtly intervene.
Most people stop in their tracks when rage is diverted or interrupted. You can see the mother out of control in cctv and produce the recording in court if required.

It's not likely that VZ gave you dynamic IP's, but it's possible. You should have been given more than one. If not, it's better to get more and a set of configuration instructions. In the last one I set up, we put a 5-port switch on the ethernet port coming off the Adtran, then fed 2 routers and a security system from the switch. Our gateway was one number lower than the bank of IP's we had, and we just gave each piece of equipment a static ip address and gateway to the gateway :-)
