I would like to change email set up to retain my emails for longer period. Currently my emails get deleted every three days. I have tried but can't find application where I can change my email set up to keep emails for longer period.
I don't think your emails are getting deleted, your phone may only be syncing the last three days worth.
be good to check your email online through your email providers website to confirm they are being deleted.
Either way on your phone open your email.
open the menu and click settings
near the top in settings should be account settings open that
select the email account your using
and then click sync settings
in there you should see period to sync email, I'm think that's set to three days, change it to all
the above instructions may vary slightly depending on the android version.

on your computer, login to your email account then go to your account settings.. just copy your email configuration to your mobile..
on menu > messages > settings > email > email accounts
> Your email account.. input your configuration from your email..
(e.g. smtp.mail.yahoo.com & pop.mail.yahoo.com) for yahoo accounts
on menu > messages > settings > email > email profiles> choose your connection (e.g. wifi connection, gprs/edge connection)
