I have not tried to do anything.
You won't be replacing batteries on Logitech's newest iPad keyboard case. As its name implies, the Solar Keyboard Folio uses light to maintain its battery life, which is two years on a complete charge, claims Logitech. Two small solar panels integrated into the Folio use either indoor or outdoor light to keep the Bluetooth keyboard juiced up.
I know this was forever ago, but yes you can. If the batteries will no longer charge on your keyfolio lift the rubber mat slightly on either side of the red caps, you will see tiny screws which can be unscrewed with a jeweler's/small screwdriver. Then the red caps will slide off of the ends. The whole aluminum silver cover will slide off of the battery case and you can then replace the two AAA enelope batteries inside--with other rechargable batteries (I simply found 2 more enelope brand ones) which you can find online. Replace the cover, end caps, and screws and set your keyfolio in bright sunlight to fully charge. Good as new!
