Just brought home a Kenmore dryer, model 110.68002011. I bought it from Sears Outlet so didn't have an owner's manual. After a few minutes running it shuts off and flashes codes F3 & E1. Was wondering if I hooked up wrong or do I need to call Sears? Thank you in advance for any help

I went on another site where I found out that it was a thermistor a part of the heat blower. I will be ordering it for $20 off that site and my husband will fix it.

SOURCE: I constantly got E1 Error code on my Kenmore Elite H3 GAS dryer

E1 error code indicates an open thermistor or open thermistor circuit. A thermistor is a component that relays the temperature in the dryer to the control board. If the thermistor has failed, Error code E1 will be displayed.
You need to call a repair person to fix it.

Remove front panel

It was a broken dryer belt. Called Sears. No help ay all. No parts in the sears store.. Called Winklers Appliance 3705 Transport St., Ventura, Ca. 805.642.5103. Brought them the dryer belt. $ 18,95 . They told us what to do. Sold us a belt and we were fixed in 30 minutes at home, by our selves.

Our dryer was running fine and now it wont turn on.

It could be the timer or a safety switch that keeps it from over heating.Sears used to sell a home owner repair manual.You can call Sears Parts Central or go to the web site and give them the model number and see if they have the manual. It is a pretty good easy to follow manual with a good trouble shooting section.

Owners manual for Kenmore Elite Microwave Model 66462

A full Sears/Kenmore model number has 3 digits, a dot, then 8 more digits, such as ###.########

You can just enter your full model number at the Sears parts site.

On the resulting page, look to the right for the blue "View manuals" button. Click there.

That Sears-related site has many free manuals. While the manuals they list there are all free, they will ask you to register.

Many times, the owner's manual will have the installation instructions inside.

What problem are you having, the problems i have seen with kenmore elites are below.

1. when you press start and release dryer shuts off

for this problem, change the board in the console

2. not producing heat

for this problem, check to see if 220 is getting to element, check to see if you are getting 220 from outlet, check your thermal cutoff on heating housing, check your heater relay which is located in top console.

I thinkl you can order the manuals from www.sears.com under the parts tab enter your model # also if it is an electric dry it is 220v with a neutral leg check with the local electrian to see if the power there is phased..Hope this helps
PS::The washer and the refrig will work on the tranformers
