check for a micro switch under the seat, on the foot brake system
indicates that by starting when pulling the wire you are breaking a ground circuit that stops it from working

try unplugging the switch's if that doesn't do it...unplug them and connect the two wires... done.

clean your carb

you might have to check the magneto behind the flywheel
