If your inser USB dive and your Samsung won't recognize and open it, there are two possiblilies: Your flashdrive has some problem or the USB port of yor samsung has some problem. so check port with another flash drive and check your flash drive on another computer. If you have some problem with samsung, claim your warranty

Acer chrome book white screen

The Acer Chromebook may boot to a white screen with the Chrome logo due to a recent update. At this state, the Chromebook downloads and installs the update, and then boots normally within 30-40 minutes.
If there is no updating process going on and the Chromebook boots to a white screen, the following steps should help you resolve the issue. Keep a 4 GB USB flash drive and a computer connected to the internet ready.
  • Press and hold the Esc and Refresh (F3) Keys. Simultaneously press the power button. The Chromebook boots to the Developer mode.
  • Note down the model number displayed at the bottom of the screen.
  • Insert the USB Recovery Flash Drive into your Chromebook.
  • Wait for about 10 minutes while the system recovers from the USB flash drive.
  • Disconnect the USB flash driver once the recovery is complete. The Chromebook restarts automatically.
  • Follow the prompts on the Welcome screen.
Hope the above steps help you resolve the issue. For instant support Call Our Toll-Free 1-866-293-9220

Samsung chromebook recovery. i get keep getting error messages when loading recovery image and the chromebook says its a trusted platform error. i dont know why this is happening

If you're getting a "Trusted Platform Module (TPM) error" when attempting to recover your Samsung Chromebook, it means that the system is having difficulty verifying the integrity of the recovery image you're trying to use. This error can occur for several reasons, including:
  1. The recovery image file is corrupted or incomplete.
  2. The USB drive you're using to create the recovery media is faulty or has errors.
  3. The TPM chip on your Chromebook is malfunctioning or not configured correctly.
Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Ensure that you have downloaded the correct recovery image for your Samsung Chromebook model from the official Google Chromebook Recovery website.
  2. Use a different USB drive to create the recovery media. Make sure it's a high-quality drive that's at least 8GB in size, and that you format it using the FAT32 file system before copying the recovery image to it.
  3. Check that the TPM chip is enabled in the Chromebook's BIOS settings. You can usually access the BIOS by pressing the Esc key or F2 key when the Chromebook is booting up.
  4. If none of these steps work, you may need to contact Samsung's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide you with a new recovery image or help you troubleshoot any hardware issues with your Chromebook.

How do I prepare a Samsung Chromebook to work with a Blue Intel QX3 microscope when the computer does not have a cd drive?

First please realize that a Chromebook is not the same as a Windows laptop/desktop and your microscope will most likely never work on the Chromebook. This is because we are talking about two different operating systems, with the Chromebook having a very slim Google operating system, called Chrome OS, designed for mainly web browsing and using web based tools such as Google Drive.

You can try to find a driver for the microscope that you can download from the web straight onto the Chromebook. BUT remember, the driver HAS to be for the Chromebook. A Windows driver will not work!

How do I download pictures from my Samsung pl20 camera to the acer chromebook 11

Try this Google Groups
The pertinent answer is from Caver_tim "I take the SD card out of my Camera, plug it the card reader in my chrome book, or use a USB card reader. view the photos, View the card using the file explorer (should pop up automarically or press Ctrl+M) copy them to the local storage if i really want copy them to an external USB haed [sic] drive"
(This is only relevant if your Chromebook 11 has a card reader. The HP one does, apparently)
[for Windows computers see p87 of the manual http://www.camera-usermanual.com/manuals/samsung/Samsung_PL20.pdf - when I connect my camera {not a Samsung} to my PC it can search the internet automatically for the appropriate drivers/software so you may need to ensure that your chromebook is connected to the internet ? But, the manual says nothing about working with Chrome OS]

How do i transfer pictures from my samsung galaxy s2 onto my acer google chromebook?

1st plug your galaxy into your acer with a USB cord. Make sure you are connected to the internet the 1st time you do this so the correct drivers can install for your device and cell phone carrier. Most phones have their own software depending on the carrier to back up your data. See your carriers web site. But you can sync your device with Windows Media Player or Real Player (most common) to also back up pics. Make sure you choose the connect mass media option on your phone when you plug it in to your computer. This allows you to access your SD card. One other way would be to choose the instant upload on your device to your Google + APP. This will allow you online access from your PC to your pics without taking up memory on your hard drive. Samung chromebook xe303c12 turns on to white screen chrome screen then turns black with power light on

Here is a trick you can use: You can put the Chromebook into Developer Mode, then once it is in Developer Mode you can switch it back into normal mode and it should totally wipe the Chromebook without requiring any USB flash drive or any SD flash card etc.
But remember that just like a Powerwash or a USB ChromeOS restore, this process will wipe all local files you have stored on your Chromebook's SSD.
best of luck ! And be certain to return to let us know if this helped.
-JW
PS: Remember that when using a Chromebook you should never store important files locally on the SSD HardDiskDrive shelf; Instead, store them in your Google Drive or if you must store them locally use something like flash storage media. A Powerwash or a switching into Developer Mode will wipe all SSD local files.

  1. Press ESC + Samsung Chromebook Refresh key + POWER. The screen displays a yellow exclamation point (!).

  2. Press CTRL + D to begin dev mode, then ENTER. The screen displays a red exclamation point.

  3. Press CTRL + D, then ENTER. The Chromebook deletes its local data, returning to its initial state. The deletion takes approximately 15 minutes.

  4. When the transaction completes, press the spacebar, then press ENTER to return to verified mode.
