I found this on google. Hope this helps:

Q: I've tried to install the product's software for a wireless connection, but cannot complete the installation. What should I do? A: Do the following: Important: You'll need to know your network name (SSID) and network password before you can set up your product. If you don't know them, contact the manufacturer of your router or the person who set up your network.
If you know your security settings, continue with these steps:

  1. Reset the product's network settings. Press the How to connect to wifi on pro 950 - home_button.gif home button, if necessary. Select Setup. Scroll down and select Restore Default Settings. Select Wi-Fi/Network Settings. You see a confirmation screen. Select Yes to reset the selected settings. (Select No if you want to cancel the operation.)
  2. Turn your router off and back on. Important: If your router is connected to other devices, you may need to re-establish the connection for the other devices on the network.
  3. Close all applications (including any screen savers, virus protectors, and firewall software) before you install the software.

  4. Uninstall the printer software (Windows only), then reinstall the printer software.
If the steps above for a wireless connection do not help, check the additional troubleshooting tips below, then try steps 1 through 4 again.

  • If you're setting up the printer for the first time, make sure you have the correct SSID (wireless network name) and if security is enabled, the wireless network password (WEP key or WPA passphrase). This information is stored in your network's router and you may be able to access it by logging onto the router from your computer and checking its setup screens. If you are unable to access the information, contact the person who set up your network or the manufacturer of your router or access point for details. (Epson will not be able to provide this information to you.) You'll need to know the SSID and wireless network password before you set up the printer.
Note: The SSID and security key or passphrase are case sensitive. Be sure to correctly note uppercase, lowercase, and numeric/special letters.
  • If your wireless router or access point is set to not broadcast its Network name (SSID), you'll need to enter the SSID manually in the printer's setup software. If your wireless router or access point has wireless security enabled, you'll also need to know what kind of security it is using. Epson will not be able to provide this information to you. If you don't know this information, you'll need to contact the manufacturer of your router or the person who set up your network.

  • Make sure the product is within range of the wireless router or wireless access point.

  • Avoid placing the printer near a microwave oven, 2.4 GHz cordless phone, or large metal objects such as a filing cabinet.

  • Check to see if access restrictions, such as MAC address filtering, are set on the router or access point. If access restrictions are set, add your product's MAC address to your router's address list. If you're unsure on how to do this, contact the manufacturer of your router for instructions. To obtain your product's MAC address, print a network status sheet.

  • Disable any settings (such as AP Isolation, Client Isolation, or Privacy Separator) on your wireless router or access point that would prevent wireless devices from communicating with each other.

  • Make sure your system meets the requirements.

  • Make sure all applications (including any screen savers, virus protectors, and firewall software) are closed.

  • Make sure you have administrative rights or software installation privileges to your computer.

Epson Stylus Pro 4900 Printer. How can I connect to Wi-Fi?

Question edited for clarity and add name of Maker.
Question moved to correct category.

Connectivity specs. Not really cordless wifi, you are connecting to the router or office network using a network cable. There would be ways around it using a powered wifi access point hub to the printer and use that to wirelessly connect to the router, but probably not cost effective. It would give you the ability to print from the Epson smartphone app.

I have the ZTE Z798BL, or ZTE Majesty Pro. My question is, how can I connect it to my Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet, without needing a USB?

You could possibly set up a network through your wifi connection and share files between the two devices. But you should have a cable that will connect the device to a USB port on the tablet. If you don't have enough USB ports, with one port you can get a powered USB hub that will let you add USB devices to the tablet.

My dad gave my son an elderly (2001) HP Pavilion xf145 notebook with windows xp. We can't figure out if we need to add a wifi card of some sort, if it can even connect to our wifi or what. It seems to...

You can use either external wifi modem and connect it to the notebook by ethernet cable or (better) use PCMCIA wifi card (second-hand e.g. from eBay?) or wifi usb modem connected direct to usb port. Just check if choosen wifi modem supports your OS WIN XP (and service pack - e.g. WIN XP SP3). In the Reference guide of the notebook is not specified USB version - it seems to be v. 1.0, so it is necessary to get an USB wifi modem compatible with USB 1.0 standard.

Hi i m not getting my phone with broadband net connection

For broadband you have to connect either with a LAN cable or USB cable to the PC or the WiFi way. LAN cable you cannot connect. USB cable connects to the PC and not the router. WiFi is the answer. If you have WIFi (wireless router) then all you have to do is to search for the WLAN and give the WEPkey when it asks for it. You can try to connect to the router thru USB cable if you can, I doubt, but there is no harm trying. If you do succeed, do let me know how you did it. I will spread the word around for you.

I am trying to locate the usb port on the nikon 950.

Hi,
the 950 has no USB connection, its pre USB, there is a rs232 serial port but it is incredibly slow.. i mean really slow.. hours to download a 64mb card.. its the headphone like socket under the rubber flap on the edge near the shutter button. If you don't have a cable getting one may be a problem these days

By far the best way to get pictures downloaded is with a CF card reader available from almost anywhere and would download your images in seconds over usb2 and wont need special drivers.

Happy snappin
