Remote key does not operate doors (batteries are new)

If you simply replaced the battery in the key, it fell out of synch with the vehicle, there is a procedure in your owners manual to resynch the key to the system. If you follow the procedure, and the key does not work, the system may have become disabled, and you need to go through the provedure again to enable it and synch the key.

If that still does not get it synched, you will likely need to take it to Benz dealership to have them synchronize it. Should run around 50 bucks.

Pentair Easy Touch remote lost sync with the outside unit. Have tried resyncing a dozen times, per the manual, tried hitting the reset button and then resyncing...nothing worked. I removed the cover on...

Try turning the whole system power off at the main house panel, wait a minute, turn power back on, then go to the pool panel and reset communication as per manual instructions. This worked for me.

The weather Forecast Icons don't change on my honeywell weather station model # TE852W

Hi,

This problem could arise due to various reasons
1)Replace the batteries in remote sensors
When the batteries are properly installed, the remote weather sensor will resume sending signals to the main unit.To enforce an immediate remote signals search, press and hold
DOWN on the main unit.

2)Remote thermo-hygrometer sensor could be weak in sending the signal about weather Forecast.Test it properly.

3)Reset the unit and check

Outside temp does not read new batterys in both inside & outside unit

Double check the batteries to make sure they are installed correctly. If one of the batteries in the outdoor sending unit is in backwards, it will not send the outdoor data. On the indoor unit, there is typically one battery that is used for receiving the signal from the outdoor unit. If all of the batteries are in correctly but that one, you will see the display and the indoor temperature information, but the outdoor information will not be displayed.

Conon powershot a470 i cant find in the manual where the battery life is displayed? is it on the screen? do u have 2 change setting 2 find it? or does this model not display it on the screen?

Your a470 has a "low battery" flashing icon that will appear in the upper right hand corner of your lcd display when the battery is getting low. It doesn't appear to have a constant battery display. The manual recommends when you see the flashing icon... change the battery as soon as possible.

My clock will not display the outside temp. after battery replace

Try replacing the AA batteries in the main clock/display unit - that worked for me, then you'll probably need to press the reset button next to the AA batteries, and maybe the reset button next to the AAA batteries in the remote unit - press reset on the main unit first. My remote is now registering and the red light is flashing, but I don't know how to reset to the correct time and date - it's been scanning for a while and found nothing...

Manual or directions

We have the same model. From the manual:
STEP 1: Slide the system switch to the HEAT or COOL position to program the corresponding system
STEP 2: Press PROGRAM to enter program mode. Heat or cool will be displayed on the LCD.
STEP 3: Press the UP or DOWN arrow. The Program hour and AM or PM indicator are flashing. Press to change the hour.
STEP 4: Press PROGRAM to change to the minute position. The current minute will be flashing. Press the UP or DOWN arrow to change the minute.
STEP 5: Press PROGRAM to change to the program temperature. The current temperature will be flashing. Press the UP or DOWN arrow to change the temperature.
STEP 6: Press PROGRAM again to move to the next program number. Repeat Steps 3-5 to change the remaining Weekday and Weekend Programs. [there are a total of 8 programs]
After cycling through all 8 programs, press PROGRAM again to return the display to normal. Press HOLD/RET at any time to exit the Program Mode.

TEMPORARY MANUAL OVERRIDE:
To temporarily change the current set temperature without affecting your program:
  • Press either ARROW and hold for about 1 second to enter the Manual Override Mode. When display flashes, you can release the key.
  • Press the ARROW to change to your desired Temperature
  • Press HOLD/RET to return to normal mode, or wait 15 sections for it to return automatically.
  • The current program number will flash to signify the Temporary Overide.
  • At the next program change time, the Temporary Override is cancelled, and the next program temperature becomes the setpoint temperature.
Hope this is what you need. God Bless.

Rf tech 433 mhz

I had the same problem and finally found my manual. Here's what to do, everyone!

1. Take back panel off the sending unit, where the three batteries are, by unscrewing the 4 phillips head screws (assuming you, like I, had put the screws back in after installing new batteries). You will see a little gray button in a hole above where the batteries are; the little button is one you can push down with the same phillips screwdriver you took the 4 screws out with - don't do this yet.

2. Now, hold down the "channel" button on front of receiver panel for 2 sec, until the dash in the "ch" box and the place where the temp is supposed to be starts blinking.

3. Now, while these indicia are blinking on the panel, push the little gray button down and hold it for 2 seconds. This causes the transmitter to "register" with the receiver. You should now see a 1 in the "ch" box and get a temp reading.

4. Put screws back on, put receiver where you want it, proceed with rest of your life.
