Hook your Xbox to tv via HDMI, then hook TV to reciever through digital optical or composite cables. If you try to get your picture through receiver first, you may get picture and sound but, sound may be delayed and picture might not be the best. Bettter to run through tv first then provide sound to receiver.
Use HDMI because they combine picture and sound in one convenient cable. You can buy the cheapy ones because they work the same as the pricey ones with no degradation in sound quality or picture.
is there sound? check the connections in the back of the tv. if you get red lights on the xbox, then it means a cable is loose some where. check the av swith on the av cord connected to the 360.
You need to go buy another cable, get a good length red and white rca cable one that suits the distance between the chair and the xbox. Then you need to get a female to female rca adapter. Connect the adapter to the ends of the red and white audio cables on xbox, connect your new rca cable to the adapters, connect the cable to your pyramat seat. Connect xbox tv cable to tv as normal.
try replacing your audio and video wires that connect from the Xbox to the TV.. if this doesn't work send the console back to Microsoft and they will repair it free of charge and ship it to you in about 3 weeks.
Double check you a/v cables connections.red white yellow for regular tv and red blue green for hdtv. also check the tv/hdtv switch on the xbox end of the cable.Try swapping cables with a friend that has a working system and see it works.
