Bought new 650 remote to replace aging 520 which still works. New remote works but ca't get volume to work at same time as changing channels - can only do either or. Q- can I sync the 520 with the new 650 to get switched over? Ny

There are a number of reasons that this has occurred.
The simplest is that the batteries are low. Change the batteries first. Batteries last 2-3 months before they need replacement.
Try reprogramming the remote. Before you reprogram make sure that you have the latest firmware loaded from
