Please provide the model number. Also, assuming you're talking about a CD stuck in the drive. There should be a tiny pin hole on the CD/DVD drive bezel. Unplug laptop and remove battery. Then stick a tiny pin in that hole -- should release the catch that keeps the optical drive bay closed. You can then open the drive and remove the disc.

SD Card and disc stuck in CD slot of Alienware M14x?

try taking a small piece of wire and bending a small hook into one end slide it in on TOP of the stuck disc and hooking the center hole of the disc, (you don't want to get the wire under the disc because you could damage the disc reading hardware) also once you have the disk hooked you may have to use the tweezers to gently hold the front of the disc up to align with the slot as your pulling it out. you should feel a little resistance but don't try to force the disc out too hard.

Dell inspiron dvd drive stuck in open position

Remove the drive from the laptop. You should be able to remove a plate from the drive casing and realign the disc tray with the tracks of the drive. This is fairly normal when too much pressure is applied to the tray while inserting a disc.

My dell Inspiron 1720 laptop is stuck on the windows boot manager and I don't have the disc they say to use. How do I fix this this problem? Please help I don't know what to do but I don't want to loo

To start what operating system are you running? Dell's website has manyy troubleshooting and restore proceedures but you need to know your operating system(XP,Vista, or Windows7). Laptops with newer versions such as vista or windows7 automatcily back up your data to a second partition in the hard drive. There should be a complete copy of your original configuration from the factory which is used to reinstall the operating system and then alowwing restore of data from the same secondary partition so you will not lose you data. I can help you with this but I need whioch operating system your runing. In case your wondering Dell and other maufatcurers stopping sending operating systems discs with the ;laptops when you buy then, instead as mentioned before they install the oprating system on a seperate partition in your hard drive. they did this to stop the bootleggin of the operating discs. You can also contact Dell and give them the information from the servie tag on the bottom of your computer. The service tag # is like a serial number and contains the configuration of the laptop. You can purchase a copy of this disc from Dell for no cost if laptop is under warranty or for a small charge of about $30 if out of warranty, but if reinstaling from the disc all old data will be lost unless you can copy it before reinstallin the operating system.

The hard drive is bad I need to replace this one for my Dell Laptop. Any suggestions

you are stuck getting a Dell replacement part for the laptop. It is the only way to be sure of getting the correct part. the Dell Service manuals are an excellent source for explaining how to remove the existing hard drive and replacing it.
Are you sure the disc is bad?

My dell laptop is not booting and the screen is blank

Hi,
If you have tried booting it up several times and it keeps stucking on a blue screen then you will have to repair the computer completely . You can try ctrl + f11 or else use the disc which you got with your computer.
Good Luck!

GAME CD IS STUCK WON'T SHOW AS INSERTED SO IT WON'T EJECT

With the slot load models the whole system needs to be disassembled to retrieve a stuck disc. Are you absolutely sure there is a disc in the drive? If so, it needs serviced and may need the drive replaced.
