Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. Contact any service technician

In mornings from standby my tv will accept remote and light turns to blue, but no power or sound, unplug for about 4 hours and try again and sometimes it works, set is 2 yrs old

With limited information, I suspect what you have is bad capacitors located on the board inside your tv. Sometimes when these start failing they get hot and expand. Then when you shut the unit down they cool. I have also seen bad soder connections fail as well on circuit boards. The board heats up and the soder connection comes apart and closes back after cooling down.

Factory Remote Starter works sometimes

Could be an engine or data problem.. If the check engine light ever came on, the computer is locking out the remote start. This is to prevent the car from running unattended that may have a problem. Have the compute scanned first or any codes, correct the problem and the remote start problem may go away.

Remote Starter problem

Sounds like the immoblizer bypass is malfunctioning or, the pellet (resistor) in the ignition key itself is wearing down.

Remote not working, why

Sometimes they just stop working, idk why, sometimes the battery dies. Try this: lock the doors with the switch in the car - turn the from off to on without starting the car eight times ending in the on position - the locks should unlock then lock themselves - then press unlock on the remote - the lock should unlock - turn the key to off and remove then try the remote again. If nothing happened, replace the battery and try to program again. if that doesn't work, get a new remote.
