There is no standardised code for the 4500 RDS unit. Each code is completely unique and tied to the serial number of the radio itself. To get the serial you will need to remove the radio from the dash to find it on a label on the back or you may be lucky - see below. This serial then needs to be decoded to find the code you need to enter into the radio.
As you have a 4500 unit you may be lucky and not have to remove the radio to get the serial. The Ford 4500 RDS Unit found in late model Fiestas for example does not need to be removed from the vehicle to obtain the serial number. Simply turn
on the radio, hold down button 6 and then press button 2. The serial number will be
displayed on the screen.
Once you have the serial go to this site enter the serial details and they will email you back the code for a small fee. Simple!!
