How do I get the meter count

Best thing to do is contact Ricoh Services and Support (1-800-432-9787) for service. A Ricoh Tech/Engineer would need to go into Special Service to change the Accounting type preferences, as end-users shouldn't have access to this Special Service function. Additionally, once this change has been made, you cannot revert back; you can only change this setting once.

User tools button then counter then select print counter that will give black and white total count use that number

there is no M5 preventive maintenance only M2 and M3 please conform

1) Identify product on following page:

2) Sales sheet shows model numbers and voltages and shows that product is hour meter:
BW30 is AC alternating current with choices 230Vac 115Vac or 24Vac
BG30 is DC direct current 12-48VDC

3) Hour meters normally have 2 terminals, but there is not a photograph of back of product.
Hoping you will photograph your product and post image on your website and add a comment to this thread with web address of image, along with other information you have.

4) Usual set up for timers and counters: terminal 1 is for black wire L or L1, and terminal 2 is for white wire N or L2.
If terminals are not labeled, then wires can be connected either way, but as you face terminals, terminal 1 is on left.

5) Wiring:
Hour meters are wired in parallel, not series.
For example hour meter on 240V pump: 2 wires go to pump.
Simply connect each hour meter terminal to one of the wires.
Another way to illustrate: If you test electricity using two-prong tester, you touch each tester lead to one of the wires. Hour meter connects same way.

6) How hour meters work:
Hour meters count number of hours electricity is turned on.
For example I have 240V Grasslin hour meter connected to water well pump.
Water well has pressure switch that turns pump on-off.
If hour meter is connected before pressure switch, then meter simply runs continually since it receives power all the time.
So hour meter has to be connected after the pressure switch. And then meter counts only when power is turned on to well pump. This way I see how many hours my pump runs and then estimate pump cost by multiplying hours x pump wattage.

Look to the far right of the operator contol panel, past the 9 key pad and you will see a "little button" called COUNTER check. Press it and it will tell you your meter reading.This screen can be configured "by a service tech" to allow you to view the count of up tp 6 different meter counts depending on the function you wish to monitor. The basic meter reading is named "101". That because there are hundreds of funtions that are always monitored and they name them 101,102,103 etc. 101 counts the number of sheets of paper that have exited the copier. "102" does the same except it counts 11x17 [ledger] as 2 copies as 11x17 is really 2 letter size sheets. So my company uses this meter for billing purposes so we ADD the 102 meter to the list of viewable meters. Again this can be configured to the customers needs or the service provider needs. You can set it to view just black and white, just color, or even how many copies were made at 64%. its wild. But the 101 meter is the default and cannot be removed or altered. Press System Menu/Counter Key,
Press Check the Counter,
Press Print Report, a report will print out with counts on it.
Press Close

Because you have to go into service mode and clear the counter.

Utility then meter count then stop00 stop01. then touch counters then touch life clear the transfer roller.

The meter is located on the inside left hand side right above the fixing unit.. That is called the hard counter. There is also electronic counter that can be seen in service mode, but they can be reset at any time.
